I still wake up in the morning and go ow...

Yuck. Hang in there chick

Thankies :)

Just a quick update

Still too unwell to do any high impact training so haven't been back to the gym yet.

But on the upside I've been doing 20-40 minutes of low intensity biking on my exercycle each day and might give swimming a shot tomorrow

Stick with it..you'll come right 8)

What he said. Are you off the prednisone etc? Let us know how the swimming goes :)

Nope, I've been on prednisone for almost 5 years, just been changing the dose round :x

I'm still on 60mg orally and had 3 IV doses when I was in hospital.. I HATE IT!!

 Ouch. I guess you'll always be on it, yeah?

Yup :x

My normal dosage normally sits around 15mg though, I still get that lump on the back of my neck and puffy cheeks at that dose (due to water retention) and high blood sugar, but no increased appetite, headaches or stuffed up blood pressure like i'm getting at the moment

Cardio

AM

20 mins moderate pace on bike (HR 160-170bpm)

PM

30 mins HIIT bike (HR 150-180bpm)

20 mins moderate pace bike (HR 160-170bpm)

Good job with cardio — I can't do even five minutes of HIIT

My secret is a long black 15 minutes beforehand and something to distract you from the lameness of it eg The Simpsons :D

Stupid knees are sore today so I didn't do as much cardio as I would have liked to :x

AM

20 mins moderate pace on bike

PM

30 mins HIIT on bike

Good news:

I got a letter from Polytech today and they've recieved my application for Bachelor of Nursing. Only 72 more days till I find out if i'm in.

I almost have University Entrance. Only 4 more english essays to write!
