Progression video 60~ lbs lean

Hrm, you look a lot smaller in the vid than you do in pics.

I've got a mate who has pretty much the same physique as you, same height, but 5 kilos lighter. Only other difference is he goes to the gym about 2 times a week, and eats whatever he wants.

Just wondering if it really takes much hard work to acheive this 'aesthetic' look...

That aside, theres no doubt you have put in work to get to where you are now, so good job.

yeah same bro, its not hard to have a bit of muscle and be lean it is however alot harder to carry lots of muscle and be lean. inb4 'haters gonna hate'

5kgs of pure muscle (i'm assuming hes the same BF% as me) is a HUGE difference. next time you're at the supermarket take a look @ 5kg of steak stacked up.

post up pictures of him, if he can maintain my physique with 2days training and shtty dieting then his genetics simply blow mine out of the fuking water. I struggle for every lb in the gym..

I don't know if that means too much, I only work out two days a week and this is specifically because I'm on a hardgainer routine designed for maximum recovery, and to other people it would appear that I eat whatever I want when they see me in the weekends getting McDs etc, but in reality im counting my calories & macros and just fitting it all in IIFYM style... and I maintain a fairly lean muscular physique

After reading all this shit I finally watched the clip.

I don't know if that means too much, I only work out two days a week and this is specifically because I'm on a hardgainer routine designed for maximum recovery, and to other people it would appear that I eat whatever I want when they see me in the weekends getting McDs etc, but in reality im counting my calories & macros and just fitting it all in IIFYM style... and I maintain a fairly lean muscular physique

post pics? what is a 'fairly lean and muscular physique'? 75kg 12%?

can almost gaurentee i could never achieve what i have with IIFYM and 2day/week training.. mabey i'm just naive : /

dude no doubt you have a good physique (mind the spelling), proberbly better than average. I'd imagine alot of guys on here would have an 'aesthetic' physique like yours if they were to cut down to such low BF. But their aims and goals are different. Either way we all are trying to get bigger but with different avenues of acheiving it. Your welcome to show off your body, as everyone who lifts can appreciate sweet mass be it lean or not so lean (no homo). Just dont be arrogant and follow zyzz and JR methods of promoting themselves otherwise the hate will come and you will have to expect it. Some maybe jealous but most proberlby aint and just see arrogance as I do. I have a very similar phsique to yours but dont make videos screaming look at me i think im so hot.

That's not training "hard" sorry mate.

As long as you enjoy training the way you do then that's cool, just don't call something that which it is not

Tbh this is the worst community ive actually posted my video in. For some reason there is just far more hate here on average, wether its due to the competition bodybuilding/powerlifting memberbase or just angry kiwis i'm not too sure!

Still there are alot of levelheaded and likeminded dudes on here, otherwise i'd be running for the hills!

I was saying this to Growth - just meaning that someone who works out twice a week and eats whatever they want isn't necessarily half-assing it, as I get best results doing full body twice weekly over doing splits, and do IIFYM so appear to eat whatever i want to other people. But the IIFYM thing is only really for weekend meals when I'm out etc, not all the time.

And no twice a week isn't optimal training for most people, and you likely wouldn't have had the results that you have if you had done a two day routine, but was just saying as it works well for a small minority like myself

I think what you are experiencing here is just different what you have experieinced elsewhere. People here are a lot more 'real' than your typical fanboys on say bb.com etc. We're kiwis, down to earth and humble for the most part, and to be honest, the 'aesthetic' physique doesn't have a big following here (NZ), especially among straight males, which this forum predominantly is.

You probably posted your videos etc expecting a lot of fanfare and awe, when people are more impressed by a heavy rock bottom squat or a 110kg 8% physique.

It's a little naive that you label the forum as 'haters' etc, without trying to understand the reasoning behind your lack of reception.

I mean, i've already said i think you have put in work to get from where you've been to where you are, and good job. It's just when i log into the forum, im more interested in reading a HarryB/Soundsgood/DrizzT/Tomsammce workout journal than see some little dude working out with no shirt on.

PS. Did a quick check for a squat vid but no dice? ATG squat vid with shirt on please :D

The point is your nothing special....... (NO IM NOT HATING YOU JUST NEED TO GET REAL) there is no shortage of guys that look like you, they just dont make videos and post them selves all over the internet.

there are people on this site that make your achievements look pathetic in comparison and they don't prattle on about it all the time (again no hate its just this IS real life) and as exactly stated by growth this forum is full of people who actually lift and for the most part have made significant gains so are not blown away like the virgin forever alone fan boy fuckwits on bb.com.

Great posts Growth and TWL, certainly sums up my opinions.

NZhredder, I have no time for 'haters' and give credit where credits due, you're obviously very passionate about this and have put in a lot of effort. But the fact is that on this forum, as Growth said, many of us aspire to greater things. So don't be so shocked when the response isn't an endless bombardment of 'Mirin' 'Jelly' or 'diet/training?'

In your you tube vid at the start of the thread you state that you are 5 feet 9 and then further in you state at 19 you are 5 feet 11.

I know people at your gym and have also now been informed by others who train there that you are actually only bout 5 foot 3 to 5 foot 6, why the deception about height?

As to asthetics does this not relate to artisic beauty which you have none of.

Posting on websites all over the place is trolling, if this is your intention then all the text flung at you is well deserved, if you are in here as a legit Bodybuilder then say so.
