post-7612-1416682093666_thumb.jpgok, since i been back into training for a few months now i have decided to begin a journal to log my progress, this is gonna be a journal for bulking. was planning on competing end of year and started dieting but then was dissapointed with my physique which should have been expected from having 2 years off, also lost my licience which makes it hard to get places like the gym 10 times a week and thought if cant do it 100% then there is no point. so after 3 weeks of diet i finished and bought squat rack, bench, bar and some plates for garage and have decided to focus on the big lifts and getting abit bigger for perhaps a bodybuilding competition or maybe a powerlifting comp next year. so here is a before pic taken for the start of my journal (today) and i will most likley put up a pic every 6-8 weeks. ill just be logging training in here and not really diet just so my entrys are quite quick. when i get more equipment i will put up a pic of my home gym aka Golds Gym.. but you guys can all imagine a squat rack im sure.

ok, last night was chest

Flat bench press

10 sets of 12 reps @ 100kg

Incline bench press

10 sets of 8 reps @ 100kg

that is all. strength average at moment but should get up there.

thanks guys.

Quote of the night:

Optimism means expecting the best, confidence means knowing how you will handle the worst. Never make a move if you are merely optimistic.

Quote of the day:

"The road to success is not straight. There is a curve called failure, a loop called confusion, speed bumps called friends, red lights called enemies, and caution lights called family. You will have flats called jobs. But if you have a spare called determination, an engine called perseverance, insurance called faith, and a driver called passion, you will make it to a place called success."

Tip of the day:

always brush your teeth and have a protein shake before bed.. lol

You should brush your teeth AFTER you have the protein shake, Tom. Waking up with last night's soured protein shake on your breath is nasty. :P

Seriously though, you're looking good - I'm keen to see your progress. Should be pretty impressive if muscle memory does its thing!

protein in between you teeth for a slow release?? lol

yeah thanks mate, i will put up more pics every 6-8 weeks and more detailed entries shortly for better reading.
