Food today consisted of gross hospital food? WTF is the world coming to?!

I hear ya on that one...where I work they serve the new mum's food that kinda defies description with boiled veges :puke: and the scones for supper..if you could call them that..are more like golf balls :pfft: Once you start your nursing training on your first clinical you will have some stories to tell  How long now till you find out?

Do you find a soak helps with your joints? Impressed with the distance though, I'd need waterwings to help me get through that.

Yup, my initial physiotherapy was done in a hot pool. It's really good because it's non weight bearing etc

I learned how to swim when I was about 5 so it's always come naturally to me, I just float a bit better now cause I've got more fat on me :pfft:

Yup it's one of these

power-plate.jpg

and it just vibrates at the rate you set it at, and apparenlty you muscle contracts at that rate which counts as a repetition.

I'd like to give it a go for a few weeks if it wasn't so godamn expensive.

$23 for a casual visit

$132 for 6 sessions

$240 for 12 sessions

and they've got membership options too

How're you feeling now Becbec? Have things improved since Sunday? Are you weaned off the prednisone? Swelling down etc? Yay re new shoes but not yay re splints. I think you need to PM Pseudonym re username change. Maybe Optimass can do it too.
