How're you feeling now Becbec? Have things improved since Sunday? Are you weaned off the prednisone? Swelling down etc? Yay re new shoes but not yay re splints. I think you need to PM Pseudonym re username change. Maybe Optimass can do it too.

Yup, feeling HEAPS better! Still having to ice my joints lots after workouts but i'm not too sore :).

Prednisone is at 22mg and i'm meant to be down to 20 by next wednesday or feel the wrath of my rheumatologist!

I used to get shin splints really bad but since I got my new shoes they're not so bad, just probably need a rest day between treadmill sessions

had a mate come a long with me who had never used the gym before. Was so hard not to crack up at how gumby and confused they looked :pfft:

My Training Partner and I want to bring someone along thats never been so we can have a good wee laugh... One of my mates comes along now and then (once a year), does one set of something then like does his hair and moves onto something completely random :pfft: :pfft: and then about 10mins into wants to leave because his arms are sore.

Haha yeah, he didn't even get into any training gear! Just trained in his jeans and t-shirt. Did a few sets here and there and then asked if we could leave when I was only half way through my weights :x

Totally rude aye! Why bother coming?? :roll: I once had a boyfriend who did that to me. Looking back, that may have been the start of our decline :pfft:

Eeeww trained in street clothes :? Actually I've seen a few guys at my gym do that too...a coupla guys even wear what look like slippers..Freaks!! :shock:

Got a comment from a mate that I hadn't seen in a week that I was looking fitter so happy about that :nod:

Feeling pretty good today, dropped my prednisone by 1mg to 21mg

The two at Le Sewer weigh 9kg. Do you have scales at your gym? I just popped them straight on the scales but for naughty bars that don't like standing up unassisted you can hop on scales holding bar, then hop on scales without bar and subtract le difference?
