Thanks guys!

When is your competition & what class are you aiming for?

Looking at doing a NZFBB comp in mid August.. prolly physique o/57kg or may just do the couples with a friend :D

I wont make excuses. Comments good and bad welcome..

Nice one! There's more definition overall, its particularly noticeable in your back double bi  You've got high insertion points for the calves... I have the same problem. Damn genetics :x

Keep up the good work though!

Wow, guys - both of you are showing great progress! Very inspiring.

LD, your upper body looks fantastic. There's work to do on the lower half though... Quads are good, but calves need a wakeup call. Also (and I never thought I'd say this, especially not to another guy!) I think you need more meat on your butt too. :pfft: Add some walking DB lunges into your routine - they're great for developing the glutes.

Joshua, you've put on some serious size, man. Your quads are hugely improved. I notice your left arm is looking smaller than your right - you might want to watch this... use DBs, or consciously pull harder on the left side of BBs. Also, don't listen to the nasty people about the untidiness of your room - it's vastly improved from your first photos.

For those with lagging calves, perhaps try this:

Week 1: 12-15 reps, 10 sets, 2x a week (eg, Mon, Thurs)

Week 2: the same, except 15 sets

Week 3: the same, except 20 sets

Week 4: the same, except 15 sets

Week 5: 4-6 reps, 10 sets, and only 1x a week

Week 6: the same, except 15 sets

Week 7: the same, except 20 sets

Week 8: the same, except 15 sets

I've never had a problem with calves (the one time genetics has been in my favour!) so I've never tried what I'm suggesting, but I've found a similar approach really helpful for my stubborn shoulders. Let me know if anyone tries this - I'm curious to see if it works!

Jeez, man - looking huge! The only suggestion I can make is that your upper body slightly dominates the lower - and it's possible that's just caused by a high camera angle anyway. Good stuff!

Remember everyone, the deadline for getting your pics up is today... Let's see some more photos!
