Good money, good good money. what total are you aiming for coach? when will you test/comp lift in all three?

Looking at going to the raw unity worlds in January in Texas. Goal at the moment is to get my bodyweight as close to 120-125 as possible and get as strong as possible in the posterior chain and upper body. Talk numbers later in the year. Efferding really inspires me.

You might have to add another inch on the box to make up for the heel.

What's the rationale behind the boards doc? Just shorten up the rom as you have less in the tank?

It's just variety bro. The theory behind boards in general is to target the triceps and lockout. Here it is a case of mixing it up.

The interesting thing is that I can easily do 15 full reps on narrow grip with 140. However when you add boards in you can't use your chest from the bottom and it actually gets a bit harder. Wicked pump. Rookie would say PAF.

Interesting stuff I must give it a go. I always include pin presses for an arm day, what size are the blocks? And also how do you rate floor/pin presses as a staple for triceps?

Personally I don't like pin presses. Stationary pushing from the bottom gives my shoulders grief. I do like floor presses as another core tricep movement.

Boards are 2x6's. We stick them together to make 2,3 and 4 boards.

Changed my approach slightly. On incline I worked up to a max effort single with chains. Then backed off with volume.

170kg plus 40 kg of chains;

160kg for 5 reps;

150kg for 6 reps;

140kg for 10 reps.

The first and the last are below.
