Great lifting...youve got some strong boys down there bro. Good idea to post up regular vids...

maybe the mods could give us a training vids area...? Help promote both sports etc

Probably worthy to note that we are both not for profit clubs to save any confusion.

Mint! Now just need the Coast Barbell to start a thread like this :D lol

I like the idea of a seperate forum for these. Powerhouse,Eastside Barbell and Coast Barbell and any other gyms/clubs that want to post vids...wouldnt mind seeing some GetStrength stuff too if any of them are on this forum.

Just putting it out there lol

Awesome training Doc and Eastside crew

127.5 @ 62kg! woh thats gooood money

Ant actually did 132.5kg after that but no footage. He has only just started training, was a NZ gymnastics rep but blew his shoulder out just before the 2006 Com games. He boxed last year at under 60kg, managed to talk him into doing some benching this year in between his boxing.

Maybe more powerlifters need to start doing the iron cross

140x14 ... close grip ?

Close ish grip. Why do you ask?

just wondering what your personal opinion was. would you use that grip for a powerlifting bench or would you go slightly wider ? reason im asking is i know a few who use a similar grip when going for 1rm's

nice work.

Close grip is for close grip only bro. For triceps.

If you want to test your 1RM bench then the wider the better. Within reason of course. 81 cm is legal width for powerlifting and most people will be able to lift more with a grip closer to this.
