My recollection would tell me that nz bodybuilding is actually more about conditioning than anything else.

That's pretty much anywhere really Tom. If two guys have similar conditioning then other factors come into play but really at an amateur national level the leanest guy generally wins barring some sort of amazing shape and still conditioned muscle of another guy.

Conditioning though is an easy enough problem to solve. What did you say earlier.. the 5 Cs? LOL... size, proportion and shape.. well that can't be fixed in a few weeks. So if you have those factors but aren't conditioned, you just condition yourself and you are competitive.

Hence me saying I know I can be competitive cos I have more than anything of those other factors it is just conditioning that I am working towards. Etc etc etc etc bored with this now... lol

well good luck pulling it all together, but saying it only takes a couple of weeks is an arrogant thing to say your condition was 10 weeks out otherwise you would have come in shape.

its nothing personal I'm sure your a real nice guy and know you stuff, I'm just shock you would get on stage so far off.

this is bbing after all and if you put yourself out there you get feed back, sometimes negative if you can't handle it don't do it, I'm not saying you can't Harry your fan club are the ones that are taking offense.

good luck getting in to the shape of 6 years ago I hope you can do it and I'll give credit where credits due, I respect anyone for getting up there, but will call a spade a spade.

Luckily I don't need your credit ha ha ha you're right in a way and I'm not going to disagree.. that would be pointless. Everyone can have their opinion. I don't think I'm arrogant cos I don't say anything about cleaning up or anything. Love how you express yourself though.

my way of expressing myself might be a bit raw but I'm not as nasty as it sounds. people often take it the wrong way. :doh:

Nothing much happening to be honest with my training, just shifting weight and keeping on keeping on. Lower volume workouts, heavier weights and bumped up my bw. Now officially sumo at 126kilos lol... Please come to my funeral, my heart has just about had enough!

Oh i hear ya Harry, im in the 130 club at the moment and every movement i make is an effort, time to shed some weight soon.

Not really, I feel kind of normal looking, especially after being in NZ and meeting soundsgood and a bunch of other monsters. 

Update is ummm well I am stronger than I have been in a long while, shifting some good weight, picked up a couple of sponsors, not sure what for but hey free stuff is free stuff lol..

numbers? elaborate..

Ummm well decent numbers for me.. 4plate inclines, 6 plate squats, 65k db shoulder presses... that sort of thing. Started doing military presses cos I ran out of dbs lol.. so hopefully shift something decent on those soon. 

Actually pretty strong for me which is really good. Had a knee recon in january and now back to really good squatting and have my little legs back. 

It's the training I love most and I am loving being strong again!!

Log a little training... been focussing on getting stronger on my basic compounds.

Today was delt so worked up to 6 with 140 on military press then a couple of light sets with 100.

Followed by some rear delts on a machine, db laterals and some hammer shoulder press machine. Did the hammer last and still did 4pps for 10. Feeling quite strong at the moment but no doubt be sumo size is helping :)

Did back today, was supposed to do legs but my tp is sick so I did back and will do legs tues.

Straight arm pulldowns 3 sets, overhand pulldowns 4 sets working up to 300ib stack + 10k for 6 then drop to 200 and cranked out a few reps.

Low pulley rows 4 sets, machine rows 4 sets then 2 setson this pulldown machine with pauses in contracted position. Back was smashed.

Cleaned my diet up a little so down to 123 and can breathe again ha ha ha
