Good work on the tri's TT  Plenty of weight with the DB ext's!!

What have you found best work's for you in terms of volume/weight/reps

For the overall mass I have found that 6-8 reps has been best for me my body responds to the heavy sets more than anything else.

Im also a fan of fairly high volume training especially in the winter months when im carbed up and have plenty of training energy.

Hi TT...

If as you say, you've found 6-8 reps best for overall mass... What is your reasoning for using such consistantly high volumes (12-15 reps)....?

ah uncle daz where have you been :pfft: since my birthday present you have been very missed lol.

My reasoning for changing rep range in the last 6 weeks has been to coincide with cardio, diet and the pursuit of deep cuts and striations all over the body :pfft: :pfft:

Haha TT you sure you're a Powerbuilder and not a Bodybuilder :pfft:

hmmm its debatable lol I want to be as strong and powerful as a PLer(but rep their weight more than once  ) and as massive and lean as a BBer I think this constitutes powerbuilding yes?? :pfft:

No, a powerbuilder is someone who's too fat to be a bodybuilder and too weak to be a powerlifter

Ha ha... (virtual pressies not the same as the real thing, Sorry).... :D

I've been here TT.....!!

You consistently amaze me with the weights & volumes you are pushing.. I don't need to comment, your journal says it all...

I've realised my 70's methodology needs a drastic up date... I'm studying like f*** every spare minute I get... I've changed my diet, training routine, the whole works....

And of course as a matter of habit, I'll be visiting my top drawer twice a week.... :pfft:

I'm reading Pmans book at the moment, Maximum Muscle VI.. you can download it from his website..http://www.ampedtraining.com/

Brilliant read, everything you need to know about getting the very best out of your training for maximum growth/strength...

The guy's a fukin genius....

Something I needed to do years ago, better late than never I suppose...

So, Yeh I'm still here, watching your weights ...Small Fella..!!!

In fact if you increase you poundages anymore You'll be almost as strong as I was when I was 20................. & 12 stone.... :pfft: :pfft: :pfft:

Keep smiling.....

Oh and on the deadlift front had PLENTY more in the tank mate but my training P took plates off so I guess he had enough of that exercise lol
