hey guys and girls:

(boring part) friday night and i'm home waiting for the wife to finish work so i can tell her what i've done on your site :pfft: i was browsing and discovered the site, so i thought what better way to help motivate me than to start my training and create a journal, get great advice, and hopefully get a kick up the ass from you guys and girls when the laziness creeps in

(tell me none of you get that once in a while?).

(interesting part...I hope) well i'm 35 this year,at the end of 2009 i was close to 83kgs and today i'm 75.... THAT IS NOT BY CHOICE, i'm the head chef of an up-and-coming restaurant in the centre of auckland. From valentines day till today i have had just the one day off and i normally work from 9/12am until 10/11pm seven days. i do belong to a gym at the mo' but i am going to look tomorrow for another (i have a tonne of q's for you all but bear with me for a while) gym tomorrow as the managers of my current one gave me promises that they never kept. I know for a fact supplements will play an important part of my diet. my mission is to get back to 85kgs and my goal is for september which will be my wedding anniversary (2years). I want the weight i gain to be muscle no love handles etc.. :lol: Well i don't know what other info i can give at the mo' so will post sat night about my progress with the gym thing.... wish me luck :pray: i'm off to sleep cause i'm fu@#$%! good night all!!!

just got time for quick update.. went to the gym yesterday did my arms (probably light weights to you guys but hey we all started somewhere eh!!) one arm curls db superset w hammercurls - 8k x 10reps x 3sets

7's w barbell - 19.5k x 2sets

close-grip cable curls (bar) - 24k x 10reps x 3 sets

tris

close-grip bench press - bar only x 12 x 3

superset of overhead extension and an exercise i dont know name of (haha)

10k x 10 x 3

cable pushdowns - 24k x 10 x 3

today i went and did my abs only for 30 mins and the plan for tomorrow is chest, followed by legs, then shoulders with sat sun off days as my current gym is closed on those days. Will be doing basic exercises until i can come up with a routine that is good for me, will post it when i do, for advice and opinions, thanks.
