do you even pyrimid bench?

It was suppose to be split up but benches are a precious commodity on a monday so just grouped them together. Also I tried to cut the sets down so where it said to do 100x3x5 I did 100x5x3. 3 plates is on again :twisted:

Back felt pretty pumped today same with the guns. Worked a bit on squat technique, wasnt as hard as I initially thought in terms of the groove, was easy to tell if I sat too far back. Trying to keep as upright as possible. Have a plan sorted up for new year to help get it back up to strength asap.

Got vids will post later, set up is tight but a bit on and off with the leg drive today. Hips are really sore from squatting yesterday so that may have played a role.

going commando gives you extra arching capabilities :lol: think I need to push out on the knees harder as well as pushing back towards the head, in the vids, doesnt really look like Im using legdrive (although Im trying)

Just did some light upperback work today will be jumping in the shirt tommorow!

Super happy with the bench today \:D/ Everything felt awesome, shirt went on in about 5mins but is still reasonably tight especially in the arms. Wasnt expecting to get a touch in it but I think because the chest panel is loose when focusing on using a fast eccentric it rides down to the chest nicely. I love this shirt, feels exactly like my f6 except it has a lot more support in the arms but still get a fair bit of pop, 160 came up pretty decent 170 would of been a go. Will keep it tucked away for now build some more raw power (and lockout strength) and will look to smash 180 in my next outing.

good end to the week. With all the extra food Ive been pumping in I feel a lot fresher for each session and benching feels snappy. Have a bit of doms from yesterdays session and some nasty welts but pleased with how it went. CBC will have a one of the highest concentrations of 200+ benchers by 2012 end I guarantee it :twisted:

Nice work Harley. Set that record as high as you can. i never really deserved a bench record with my bench anyway. Get it up to the 180 region if you can

Merry Christmas Andrew. Your records are well deserved mate its just something for me to chase after. I would think something between 180 and 200 will be a good target to aim for and if that gives me a couple of records then allgood 8)

Everything felt heavy today. trained in the home setup and things just didnt end up movin, couldnt focus on leg drive, liftoffs were hard. Picked up this shoulder niggle, doesnt hurt during benching only doing certain movements, still need to figure out whats causing it. Lots of voltaren and more benching to fix.

Going to test bench on friday. Will be going away for new years so want to leave on a good note, 130 is the minimum and I will be giving 140 a ride. That gives me the chance to start fresh in the new year on my new routine

Heading to the tron tommorow so will try find a gym there and smash some bench. Eatings been terrible last couple of days, havent eaten much. Playing to much battlefield haha. Also ate eff all today cos I was the only trainer at work and had to pick up my colleagues clients. Making it up for it now by smashing some angus and hoki simmichs 8)
