-Foam rolling - Back and leg

Knee pretty sore at the moment, not entirely sure what's going on because it's not really in the original spot (lateral meniscus) - more focused on the front of the knee. Think it might just be different muscles tightening up, as foam rolling the quad etc seems to relieve a lot of the stiffness/pain. Will probably book in for some deep tissue massage try and sort it out. Stupid injuries

-Bench - 65x5, 80x4, 90x3x2, 105x3x2, 120x3x3 (42 Fury)

-DB Flys - 35x10x5

-Pushup - 10x5

Good workout, suited squats destroyed me though. Didn't have time for second squat session.

Finishing yesterday's squats - strength felt good but intense full body pain, felt like i'd been hit by a truck! My knee felt really good though, a bit of pain in the front when warming up but none after that. Seems like it's happiest when i'm squatting in a very close stance (like I used to), so will continue with this for a bit.

-BB rows - 60x12, 80x10, 100x5x3 - First time doing these in a while, hopefully strength will build back up pretty quickly

-LPD - 3x8 (Wide), 3x8 (Narrow), 3x8 (V-Bar)

-Foam rolling - Back and leg (very briefly)

Grip strength really coming along, upper back getting there too.

Terrible workout today, got some sort of cold/flu and haven't had much sleep because of it - was weak and bicep tendons and lats/lower back were very painful. Cut the volume down a bit because of this, started feeling a bit better towards the end of the workout, ironically.

Bit of a skills evaluation today:

-Bench - 20x10, 40x5, 60x3, 80x3, 90x2, 100x1, 120x1 (42 Fury, no belt), 135x1x2 (42 Fury, Belt), 140x1 (42 Fury, Belt) - Didn't quite touch, slowish press but not a max - need to work with the belt bit more and get comfortable with the shirt jacked.

-Squat - 20x10, 40x5, 60x3, 80x3, 100x3, 140x1, 180x1 (38 Cent, B), 220x1 (38 Cent, B), 235x1 (38 Cent, B, Wraps), 250x1 (38 Cent, Belt, Wraps) - first time in the 38, nice and tight. Still a bit high. Squatting the weight up is no issue at all, feels light on the way up even, but just not comfortable under the weight yet - tending to bunch up in the hole and drift forward a little - need to widen my stance a tad, turn my feet out and open my hips up more. 8 weeks to feel comfortable under 276kg, time to get to work.

Good workout, very pleased with where strength is at currently. Need to work on feeling 100% comfortable under the higher weight and in the tighter gear - once this is done i'll be ready to hit some descent numbers. Hope I can pull it together for nationals. Plan of action is to start incorporating some heavy walkouts (around 1RM) on Mondays after the squats, continue doing all raw work beltless and get back into training my core on GPP/Rehab days.

-DB Flys - 10x5

-Leg press - 20, 20, 20, 12, 12, 12 (Adding a plate each time - reasonably light, just wanted to get some blood flowing)

-Pulldown abs - 5x10

-Foam rolling - Back (got some nice loud clicks out of my upper back today...)

-Bench + 40kg chains - 60x6, 70x6, 75x6x4

-Below knee rackpull (sumo) - 110x5 (DO), 140x4x2 (DO), 160x3x2 (DO), 180x3x4 (Did one rep DO to test grip, pretty solid)

Everything felt good today. Deadlifts pretty solid, upped the chain weight on bench from 25kg to 40kg and dropped the top set down 5kg - felt really good, hammered the triceps.

Hardly any rest, was a nice change
