Really good workout, some great tips from Tim and Dave about keeping my upper back a bit tighter via bringing my grip in to keep my elbows forward. Felt really strong on the squats so combined a few sets - 160x6 with some reps still in the tank felt good.

Tough workout today, nothing felt too flash. The triple at 180 felt pretty easy though, took it out of me for the 5x5 though

I find 5x5 really brings you back to reality when you've only been counting to 3 or 4 for a while :)

I don't know about that Phil, I was completely out of it after about the second set of 5 :pale: - the only thing that brought me back to reality was Dave slamming the bar into his face

Matt was watching and didn't realise what had happened until I told him anyways, so I doubt it looked that funny.

Don't lie, we all know you hit it so hard you fell over backwards and when you stood up you looked like this

Maybe our next challenge could be a push press challenge Phil?

Push Press challenge eh, would be hard to judge, not a bad idea tho. Either push press or strict press would be cool.

Cheers, and so it should.

Awesome workout today, especially considering hardly any sleep last night. Doubles at 180 felt pretty easy and the 190 double was good - first rep nice and quick but second rep a bit too slow. All in all, great day.

Last workout of the 37 cycle today, and as I have grown to expect everything felt slow and pretty terrible - but no trouble getting through it and much easier than last cycle.

Good squats in your vid bro

Whats next on the cards..another sheiko cycle or go again on 37?

How have your gains been at the end of each cycle?

Cheers. Next two weeks is the first two weeks of 37, with the maxes up 2.5/2.5/5 (212.5/122.5/215) - using knee wraps for a top set each squat day with a max of 227.5. Then after that a 5 week comp prep cycle with the same numbers. Not too sure about gains after each cycle, but to put it into perspective on my first Sheiko cycle about 6 months ago I had 130x5x5 for the first day of 37 squats, and it was tough - my comp squat after that cycle was 200kg in wraps. Now 150x5x5 is a breeze, so I would have though I'd be at about 220 now.

Good work! 29kg is a solid gain. Will keep an eye on your journal and keep smashin these weights as your comp comes up

Yeah i'm really pleased with how my squat is coming along, although slightly worried that my knees are drifting a bit too far forward - but this comes with the territory when squatting narrow. Cool - good luck for your Sheiko cycles too!

-Deadlift (sumo) - 110x5, 130x5x2, 150x4x2, 160x3x4

-Seated OHP - 60x4x2, 65x4x4

-Sumo rackpull - 110x5, 130x5x2, 160x4x2, 172.5x3x4

-Various tricep exercises (keg press, pushdowns)

-Various core exercises (DB side bends, russian twists, hungarian blaster)

Felt a bit dead today, Sheiko is really starting to beat me up - perfect time to start feeling like this, should get good results when I start the peaking cycle. Will start to incorporate some core work on my off days, want to be really stable with the higher weights when the comp comes.
