Should start the suit at a lighter weight 150-160 do not force yourself down, go till the suit stops you, by forcing you will fall forward and get out of line and end up dumping the weights. You could pull the legs up higher this will get you lower but still stop when the suit pulls you up.

this is exactly what I found too VP. I start with straps down with belt and then after a couple of doubles put the straps up and the weight up pulling the legs of the suit up as I go...it seems to finds it spot on my legs at the same place 90% of the time but cos Im a custon mofo I get a bit of bunching at the hip crease and get the odd welt for it. I always wear the wraps in the suit and I wrap the knees outwards. I swap wraps from my Titan Signitures (training wraps) to my THPs when at 90% +

Cheers brother

I'll give that a nudge to mate cheers brother Steak

Good to see you havent slacked off and are still hitting it hard brother.....

I have a client I train at albany who trains at new lynn on saturday mornings. You have probably seen him, about 6'2" with glasess a lean 90kg. Youll know who he is as he is probably the only guy there doing lots of power cleans. Anyway he was telling me the othe day about this really strong dude he sees there on saturday mornings. " A white powerlifter who always trains really hard and who gets really f***ed off when he misses a lift!" I thought yeah thats Troy allright! :pfft: :pfft:

Have been a bit slack with my own training as have been sick the last couple of weeks, I allways seem to catch whatever my clients have! But I should be back into it this weekend. Phil is good, I am pushing him hard at the moment as am going to try push him up to 106-107 over the next few weeks (he is about 101kg at the moment). Yeah once i am back into training would be keen as to have a workout together.

wednesday

Squat box squats, trying to correct technique.....

100 x 5

135 x 5

160 x 5

180 x 5

Add suits bottoms only knee wraps and belt ( higher box first)

180 x 5

220 x 6

Steve told to me to drop box size by one still above parallel and try that with out adding any more weight

220 x - sat on box lost tightness and f*@ken stayed there:angry:

Dropped weight

180 x 3 but s*#t suit wouldn't let me touch knees came forward weight is light but technique is up the s*#t, its a whole new ball game in gear even with straps down.....

Finished in gear tonight for 12 weeks going to concentrate on getting my technique better raw so when i go back to using gear theirs no issues.

So low box squats sitting right back on the box taking 5 - 6 seconds to hit bottom then explosive back up this style is hitting different areas of my leg muscles which don't seem to be as strong as my narrow raw squat style anyhow 3 steps back 10 forward.

other s*#t not worth mentioning today.

Brother we have all been stapled the best part is when you have no spotters around, and the safetys are to low

Fine art Boxes but a real good tool.

 the brief moment when you're first pinned under the bar...a little look around to the left, a look too the right, a possible re-attempt, the fail and finally the ditch

Solid effort bro 8)

:pfft: :pfft: :pfft: :pfft: .... it just sucks shit brother because I have to unload the prick and re- set it.... its a feeling I don't want to have to often, ya on the bottom in a dead stop position no power to even budge it hahahaha its enough to make ya scream f*ck......
