Good End to the week Brother

Cheers OB

I will have my squat suit and bench shirt here on Wednesday.

OB the squat suit is a 46 Centurion and the bench shirt a fury 48 which are beginners gear do you think I can break it in in two or three training days?

Its that I have a 12 week training program with gear and raw, as of next week there would be 24 weeks out to your comp this would be prefect timing for me to do 2 full cycles in the gear by then I should be away I am thinking.

If I can't hit with the shirt or reach the bottom with the squat suit in two or three training sessions what would you recommend as the 1 rm with gear?

Thanks for your time OB

the viking is no longer fighting naked!!!

big numbers ahead brah!

hahaha SFS funny guy...

It will take a little while to get use to I think but I am going to do two 12 week cycles training raw and with gear to next comp in Nov so I should have this gear worked out by then I am thinking.

Next year back to raw training, while one cycle out from a comp will start training with gear again see how that goes.

Yeah its ok shirt is big but still feels tight But Reuben got it one size bigger for training in and learning in.

200kg felt light to mate just not enough shoulder and tricep power yet so will be going hard out over the next 23 weeks mate on a Saturday or Sunday doing that goal is to nailed 500lb at The House Comp.

mate have a chat to Reuben about the shirt brother the shirt is not to expensive mate

week 2 part 1

Monday

squat

1 x 4 - 110kg

1 x 4 - 135kg

1 x 3 - 160kg

1 x 3 - 180kg

Add Centurion 46 Squat Suit (first time using) straps down and belt

1 x 0 - 180kg tried to go down to bottom hell it threw in out off line even with straps down - drop weights holy s*#t what the f*@k just happen

3 x 5 - 140kg not all the way down couldn't get depth but I had to tidy up my technique again SK was saying my knees were going forward instead of staying locked so I need to concentrate on sitting back even more so, box squats teachs you this.

3 x 5 - 160kg box squats high box first then lower box squats.

straps up and belt

1 x 4 - 140kg depth nowhere near

1 x 3 - 160kg depth nowhere near again

1 x 4 - 180kg depth nowhere near again but weights are flying up doesn't feel heavy what so ever just going to training by training till I hit depth correctly with good form - took suit off and I have blood coming off my hips i guess I was trying to get depth but its going to need more weight for this to work.

I am going to find the squat suit harder than my shirt to get use to I am thinking.

Box Squats (learning correct technique tonight so light)

4 x 5 - 100kg ( very low box below parallel) knees were lock in place and pushed arse back felt weird but very explosive so I think I am on the right track now.

Bench

1 x 3 - 80kg

1 x 3 - 100kg

2 x 3 - 120kg

Bench Lockouts today well 10cm off chest ( strengthening up for the bench suit)

1 x 4 - 140kg

3 x 1 - 165kg stopped every rep with a two second pause I wanted to do 5 sets today but missed fourth set, next training try for 4 sets till I hit the 5th set then weight goes up.

stiff leg deadlifts

4 x 8 - 100kg

Long workout tonight recorded 18sets of squats but maybe done around 22- 25 sets can't re

You are becoming a Robot the amount of work done today

Should start the suit at a lighter weight 150-160 do not force yourself down, go till the suit stops you, by forcing you will fall forward and get out of line and end up dumping the weights. You could pull the legs up higher this will get you lower but still stop when the suit pulls you up.

It will take time to get the lines right but just keep sitting back and it will come.

Hey troy, are uyou using a suit by itself of with knee wrpas, sometimes I find it nearly impossible to squat properly with a suit and not knee wraps, the kw alow me to sit into the squat more

I find the same thing, it just feels weird going deep with the suit on without them.

this is exactly what I found too VP. I start with straps down with belt and then after a couple of doubles put the straps up and the weight up pulling the legs of the suit up as I go...it seems to finds it spot on my legs at the same place 90% of the time but cos Im a custon mofo I get a bit of bunching at the hip crease and get the odd welt for it. I always wear the wraps in the suit and I wrap the knees outwards. I swap wraps from my Titan Signitures (training wraps) to my THPs when at 90% +
