Here is proof age is no barrier.

this fanatstic lady is 3 months off 70yrs old.

She is the most inspirational person in the gym to me, as well as this she is a NZ National cycle champion in her age group.

I share these for inspiration so please if you have any comments that are not complementy to a women who means a great deal to me please, I ask keep them to yourself. After my last post of a client of mine i had second thought posting these pics but I think for anyone who doubts they can give this sport a go, heres proof it can be done.

That's fantastic! It's a shame my mother doesn't know someone like her, might have inspired her to do something similar and saved her from all the illness obesity has caused.

It's great seeing a few of the older ladies at my gym and hearing about them at other gyms. One older woman who goes to pump at my gym puts many of the young 'uns to shame with the weights she lifts.

Yes, that certainly is inspirational!

Another great example of ladies getting in better shape as they get older could be seen at the National Champs last weekend - Overall Figure champ (Vickie Cattell) and Overall Women's physique winner (Kaye O'Neill) are both 48 years of age .. the same age as Jo Stewart!

It seems these ladies are just like a good vintage wine .. they get better with age!
