Skills Assessment

Weighed in at 116.20kg this morning in the nud.

Squat

Warm ups: 2x60x8 2x100x5 140x3 180x2 220x1

250 - easy

280 - easy, PB

290 - sunk real low and still come up - more in tank, PB

Bench Press

Warm ups: 2x60x8 80x5 100x3 115x1 130x1

145 - easy

160 - easy, PB

170 - lost setup, elbows were too far under bar, not quite there

Deadlift

Warm ups: 2x60x5 100x4 140x3 180x1 220x1

260 - easy

300 - easy, PB

310 - gassed, got to lockout but couldn't get hips through

Really happy with squat, bench and deadlift ok. I think I could have got that 170 bench with another attempt but today was just about seeing around where I'm at rather than building a total and couldn't be bothered with it to be fair, save it for a later date.

Good starting point, time to do some strength training now :)

I dug up an old leg pic from my bodyspace dated Nov 2007, so decided to take another one 2 years on to see how much they've grown... Pretty happy with the progress.

(Note: calves conveniently cut out of both images :pfft: )

First from November 2007, bodyweight about 90kg

Second from time of this quote - December 2009, bodyweight about 114kg

Third from late-July-early-August 2010, bodyweight about 114kg again!

112kg bro yeeyaa few years thats my plan too are you hitting thr Bb stage or PL!!!

I meant BBing, but was just having a laugh. I have a bunch of powerlifting comps under the old belt. Probably do another one in November. Playing rugby next year though which is why I'm losing weight, need to get on top of shin splints. So am cutting to 105-106 at the mo.

Seriously bro, looking sharp and I base this on what I have seen in person. Plus you are seriously farken strong.

You can hit that pose just before you hit your first ruck.
