Just got an email from FedEx - estimated delivery 19 Oct :D Do you reckon courier gets through customs faster, or does it just join the queue like everything else? Guess it joins the queue. Can't wait to see when Emzies' stuff arrives - will give a good idea of how long customs takes.

Back/chest must be getting bigger - wearing a dress I haven't worn for a good 6-8 weeks (because I don't like it much!), and it was really tight when I did up the zip this morning and feels very snug now at the top half, around the level of lats. But it's still super loose around the stomach area and hips, and it has been ever since I lost weight earlier in the year. I must be getting more triangular. That is a good thing \:D/

Today's effort:

DB chest press 15kg 5x5

Flyes 9kg 3x12

Skullcrushers 12.5kg 4x8

Tricep press 12.5kg 4x12

Unassisted dips on the dip assist station thingy 5x5 (only managed to dip about an inch, but at least they were unassisted!)

Seated dips (machine) 52kg 10x10

I can walk without problem today, so clearly I didn't work hard enough on my legs yesterday.

Yeah, after all the dips on Tuesday and the concentration curls today, I think my arms are just going to be floppy noodles tomorrow :lol:

I'm thinking about cleaning up my eating a bit more and attempting a bit of a cut in the lead up to Christmas to see if I can get some good muscle out there to display come the festive season. Not a hardcore prep for competition type of cut - kind of a half cut :lol: I don't want to go too extreme at this stage, largely because it stresses my mother out, and as she is in extremely poor health and isn't long for this world, I prefer to not go round asking for an argument :naughty: So more of a trial run to see how I go at sticking to it, and to see what results I get. I think we're at just over 10 weeks til Christmas now, so if I start next week I could do a 9.5 weeker.

Good plan - get some 'calorie deficit' credits, get lean for summer... that's assuming we get one this year!

Hey CC, how sure are you it's Ashley for spin tmw nite?

I'm basing my entire week's workout on it being Ashley tomorrow night, so I hope it still is! Haven't checked the timetable again in the last day or so though....but it was still her last time I checked *runs off to check again*

No lunchtime workout today - crazy busy at work for the next few weeks, so thought I'd just skip lunch and leave at 4.30 and hopefully do some abs before spin tonight.

My bb.com stuff is apparently now in Hawaii, soaking up the sun and surf and whatnot. Nice for some! Maybe it'll be in NZ by tomorrow - then the endless wait for customs...

Know that feeling - had thought to split workouts and do legs at lunchtime but life got in the way again!

By the time I get there, I'll just have time for some random bonus stuff, the real workout will have to wait, 'cos if it's Ashley taking Spin, I'm there!

Yay for Ashley's spin class! I'm so totally dead now. Was starving hungry afterwards - gobbled down my home made oaty bar while waiting for the bus, then carbed out big time when I got home.

Gonna need to sort out those carbs next week - I've been so focused on protein the last few months that I haven't considered other things like calories (if I'm hungry, eat, if I'm full, stop - seems to work well enough for maintaining my current weight). But I did a bit of a working out of my carbs and fats for a typical day's eating, and I seem to be carb heavy and fat light. So that means I can eat sludge again \:D/ But I'm going to be sensible this time, and put it into portion sized containers instead of gobbling the lot in one sitting :naughty: :oops:

Did shoulders today, then did some cycling - then just as I was about to finish I remembered that I was meant to do back today, as hadn't done it on Wednesday with biceps - doh! But too late, had to get back to work. Ah well, I'm sure my back won't turn to flab overnight (I hope!).

My bb.com package is now in Auckland with Customs! I'm a bit worried at how exciting I'm finding tracking the FedEx package, and keep checking it every half an hour. I need to get out more :lol:
