update

light chest and back 2day

squats have improved heaps

deadlift havnt done in ages

bench still sucks and now i have no training partners to spot me so dunno where thats at

but overall strength and size has improved, i think, but i feel a lot smaller than i used to which kinda sucks.

need to start training calfs again, havnt for 2+ months or so....

need to EAT MORE!!!!!!!!!!! and cleaner!

How's your squat doing now?

umm never have anyone to spot me.....

but can get 130kgs for 11-13 reps for 5 sets last time

and got 150 for 6 easily enough

but havnt gone for a big single yet

but yea its improved a lot since a few months ago

oh and i do it with a belt on but no knee wraps or anything else

Should be able to get 170-175 easily enough then.

If your desperate I can even come down and spot you for a set!

never a good enough excuse for not pushing it.

sweet, na ill do it when im ready maybe in the next week or two and i do push it with my reps and weight just havnt done a big single in a while

and lol my mates have all slacked off/givin up just in time for summer, ones lost 10kgs the other has lost 6 and they have both lost a LOT of muscle, gives me more motivation though!

and yes ss i squat deep enough most of the time, but depends how im feeling.... im getting better lol. still dont go way below parallel - wouldnt this root your knees ??

then some rows and other stuff, tough workout, was really impressed with my performance!!

so it seems the summer rush is on and my gym has now become too crowded so im going to change gyms (sorry josh) probably to eastside barbell where i can learn some more about powerlifting and get stronger as strength is poos at the moment.

just did a wee tester on deadlifts today to see if squat strength has carried over.... it appears it has

found them all really easy and 150s felt like 120s used to so all good!

You training for a marathon? Did the 150s tire you out or just decided to do 3 at 170? And is that touch and go or fully deloading the weight?

150s was touch and go

170 was fully deloading

no marathon just wanted to see how many i could get and wasnt tired just have a lot on 2moro and didnt wanna screw my back by doing more reps at 170 but the 3 i got were pretty easy

yeah its funny, even though Crichton is 75% + males its over 50% females I do the programs for. Guys (esp young males) dont like to be helped, all good suits me :D .

so did some close grip bench today....

bb cg bench flat

probably did 8 sets all up highlights were

a few set at 90X6

100x3

so was happy with that!

and then did some other isolation work

did some squats and leg press but hammies/back were too sore from deadlifts to go heavy

How was ESBB?

just went down 2day for a look/train

still more a private gym at the moment and looks like its still being set up but they have all the main stuff ready, members seemed friendly,mike zeros huge :shock:

just did some light legs as mike showed me the correct bar position for squats (mid traps)

so first time trying this just did a few sets at 80kgs found the position hard and akward but will keep at it.
