6days is just to much, yeah maybe a pro or two use this split but they are living the bbing life style no work and eat all day and night, plus they have the super stack to go with it. Average Joe is not going to be able to handle this and even if they could they will not see any extra benift from another day. Can't put a price on rest!

My former training partner and I did this for 18 months. Neither of us is blessed with really great genetics and we both work hard for our gains. We took days off when required. I think a complete week off every 6-10 weeks is also advisable. I certainly had my best results on 6 days. Having the ability to focus on one body part at a time is a big positive.

I agree that rest is really important. But so is being open minded and having the ability to listen to the views of others. :nod:

hmm good input by all, working long hours at the moment so might just stick to 5 days a week and do chest bis shoulders tris

did quads today and took just over an hour, no way at all i could give a decent effort on hams after i had finished with quads.

ok spose i should update a workout

quads

bb high bar squats, controlled, to below parallel

60x12

60x10

100x8 - still warmin up.... felt quite hard

120x5

140x5

150x5 - easy

160x5 - real easy

170x4 .... asked some dude to spot me said if i look like im struggling at the bottom jump in and give me a lil push up - on the 5th rep got stuck at the bottom for a good 2 seconds before i ditched it, he was like oh sorry i was a bit slow.... fucken idiot wtf was he waiting for grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr coulda easily got another 2 reps with a bit of assistance fucked me off coz they felt fucken awesome

heaps of leg ext here, dropsets n all, pumped up real good

finished with front squats...

good improvement over last week when i got 150x3, think 200 for reps within 2 months is very achievable.

It's the overall volume and intensity thats relevant, adding a day but spreading the volume will only help.

there must have been a couple of PB's in there? i havent seen you do more then 2 reps at 120 and i thought 4 was your best at 90 overhead.

quick sesh by myself today, feeling a few niggles in arms/wrists :x
