Good squats bro

thanks, first time squatting without a mirror - but thats a good thing. think form was still fine just couldnt see for myself.

Mate you have good technique. Nice and deep and upright. The weight is moving nicely. An assault on 200 kg would be a good target. Heavy leg press will help this along too in my humble opinion.

I like to keep things simple. I think the key to squatting is to do lots of it. Lots of sets and lots of reps. Being careful to keep the reps at a reasonable level. Having the odd heavy day is okay but this should be the exception. I assume that your ultimate goal is still big quads? I think reps above the 6 should be the norm and in my view 10 rep sets are even better.

Ed Coan (who is a powerlifter of course) talks about the perfect rep. I'm still searching and I suspect Ed and Ronnie Coleman and Tom Platz etc still are too!

Keep it up mate. I recall that you were doing about 100 for 3 reps less than 2 years ago (I may have this slightly wrong). Bet that seems like an age ago!
