Right, have been sent home sick and feeling very groggy and heinous (yet I can't seem to keep away from a damn computer).

So day off training today and I'll get my double dose in tomorrow.

Todays eats so far:

M1: Omlette with 1C veg

M2: 15 almonds, 1 carrot

M3: Tuna patties (one egg), 2C veg

M4: Yoghurt and 10 almonds

I will end the day with some hot chicken soup (200g + leek and tomato) =P~

So have a minor throat infection, so workouts today were a tad average.

AM - Back and Abs with trainer

Can't remember what we did but we blasted my back and shoulders

PM - 50 min x-trainer :12

Was meant to go to boxing but my energy levels really hit the ground. Ugh.

TODAYS EATS

M1: P.Shake (Pre workout)

M2: Oats + yoghurt

M3: 10 Almonds + P.S

M4: Omlette + 2C veg

M5: 20 almonds + P.S (Pre workout)

M6: Had to go out for dinner - Spicey chicken and veg

Early night for me!

I am also loving my 'no bullshitting around' trainer. He's completely honest. I said to him, "I have a couple of fatty bits I need to lose" and he looked at me and said "well yeah, to be honest, you could lose it around your shoulders and stomach - but otherwise you look good." I've found other trainers too polite or telling me I look good. But at least with this guy I kinda know.

OMG, if your trainer is agreeing that lean you could lose weight around your stomach, then I am SO not ready to go near a trainer just yet - I'm like one of those fat people who doesn't want to start going to a gym til I've lost some weight. I won't go near a PT til I think I'm at least showing some potential

Absolute hogwash, CC, that's so not true :) You'll forgive me for saying this, but I think the potential's clear already! And, didn't you say Hubby had seen improvements, a while back?

Don't forget there's a difference between commentary on healthy shape, and a PT's critical eye about the otherwise normal variations in bf distribution from one person to another.

Consider that if the PT doesn't see you "as-is", how will s/he now how your body will respond later?

[it's either that, or suddenly the reason my PT keeps a bucket in the corner becomes clear ]

Not to worry CC I practically asked to him to critique me. Plus I don't think you'll have anything to worry about :)

Went to doctor today. Throat infection and potentially a fractured wrist. Seeing radiologist tomorrow to know for sure. The thought of having to rest if for a couple of weeks sickens me however.

So obviously no training today but eats have been up to scratch as usual. Will hit the gym tomorrow morn for some cardio.

Cheers CC - I'm sure it'll be fine. I've had doctors in the past who have over reacted. Although either way, I think at some stage I'm gonna have to give it a rest for a good few days and just stick to cardio/legs/abs??? I just miss the heavy lifting tho :(:(:( Have been off it for three weeks now.

Bugga...hope it isn't a fracture. Have fingers and toes crossed for you.

Saw your comments about your PT....I've just started a PT course( 3 weeks into it OMG...so much to learn smiley-chores013.gif) and so was interested in how you rated your PT being straight up over being too polite. That's good to know.

You're training to be a PT? That's awesome!

Always happy to give feedback on what I like/dislike about trainers etc although many people are different. My sister likes them polite and if he told her she was overweight I thinks she'd run out of the room crying.

I just can't seem to gage where I'm at or what I look like so like my trainer to tell me how it is.

did you end up posting a copy of the diet your trainer made for you?

I think a few were interested in seeing it.

Thanks.

My trainer is being a bit slack in giving it to me sorry. Will post up as soon as I have it :)

So I don't have a fractured wrist but I've damaged the tendons. So I've been ordered off weight lifting and boxing til further notice. I forsee many lunges, squats and sit ups!

Yep I've been referred to a specialist who is going to do the strapping. Until then, I've been given a sports wrap (since it's not unbearable or anything - just sore enough to not lift).

Will have the diet plan up tomorrow - about time!

Right, here's the new diet:

Black Coffee pre-workout

M1: 4T Oats + Yoghurt OR 2 Poached Eggs, tomato and one piece of toast.

M2: Fruit

M3: 180g Tuna, Fish or Chicken, 2C Veg, 1/2 C Almonds

M4: Fruit

M5: 200g Chicken, Beef or Fish, 3C Veg, 1 small kumara

M6: Protein shake or small sweet

Pretty standard really.

He has me on weights 3 times per week with 3 sessions of intense cardio.

Will let you know how I go

Have been a bit slack on the journal lately - feeling a lil disheartened with my bung wrist but here we go.

MONDAY - 40m jog, 5K

TUESDAY - 20m jog, 40m x-trainer, Abs

WEDNESDAY - Session with PT - legs

THURSDAY - 35m jog, 4.5k, abs

FRIDAY - 20m run, 20m xtrainer, legs and abs

Will do an hour of cardio today and tomorrow also. Have stuck to the diet with two cheat meals per week (sushi last night and homemade pizza tonight).

Getting some plastic thermo-something or rather on my wrist on Monday.
