Just wanted to throw some pics of me in to see what you guys thought. Have been going to the gym for about 3 years and want to move things up a notch. Am looking at competing in the next year or two, but don't know what level I'm currently at ie. long way off or possibility of competing soon. Will start casing the comps in the future to get a feel for it, but your comments will be appreciated, good and bad.

Stats: 178cm, 88kg, 33 yo, bf unknown.

Kai: Breakfast- Oats and yoghurt, multi vitamins. Smoko- 1.5 scoops of protein and a banana. Lunch- 185gm tin of tuna plus rice. Avo Smoko 1.5 scoops protein and an apple. Pre Workout- Creatine. Post Workout 1.5 scoops of protein. Dinner 250gm skinless grilled chicken breast, steamed vege and maybe rice or a baked potatoe. Puts my protein intake at about 190-200gm/day I think.

Training

Day 1 Legs, Day 2 Back + Biceps, Day 3 Chest + Triceps, Day 4 Shoulders + Traps + Stomach, Day 5 break, then start the cycle again.

I'm having reasonable results from the regime, but will tweek it from time to time. Cheerzzzz

go for broke mate. you have size .. just need to drop the calories and shed a bit of fat. Don't make your first show about winning. its better to have a shot and then review yourself to improve on for the next. Its hard to tell strengths and opportunities until you're a bit leaner.

Yeah, calorie overdose probably due to the occasional binge drinking session :) I'm hoping the diet above will help me shed a few kg's.

looks like youv been doing your squats and deadlifts :clap:

why dont you go along to a competition pic a category you think youd fit well in then aim to do it in a set time period - say 3 months or something.

Cheers mate, will be casing the comp here in ChCh in the next couple of weeks to see what the go is, take things from there I guess.

Looking good, I would add in a protein with your breakfast , weather it be egg whites or powder (just dont rely to much on powder), add 30min cardio a day if your not doing any already. Need to focus on back width and shoulders to help you look wider. Good luck and go hard, you have a good base to work with
