I started B.Building 11/1/05

I was 75kg

Heres one of me with my Son at Thames about near the end of 2006

I was sitting around 88-90kg, not a lot of muscle showing at this stage

I dont have any photo's showing my legs sorry, which doesnt matter cos they were skinny twigs anyhow.

I'll have a now picture posted up soon.

Good comment

where do I swing, I try put my shoulders back the top of my lift, it that where its happening?

or was it on the seated row. I used to do em stiff back, but the a PT told me to rock at the waist like mimicing the deadlift, to strengthen my lower back.

Ive managed to stabalise my D/L heaps now, as I said the clip is old, but I would like the input. cheers

Good to see you got the video working, Mikey. I put the YouTube link into the tags for you.

My own form on deadlifts is shocking, so I'm not going to give you any advice on that. There are plenty of others much better qualified for that!

Its about a year old and im a bit bigger now but, heres a short clip of me doin some lite weight deadlifts, I filmed to watch my form, which didnt look to good.

But Im workin on it.

Worth a laugh anyway,

Keep your arms straight, bend at your hips more at the start of the lift to utilise leg drive and keep your back straight. Also, what you were really doing was a dimmel deadlift, which isn't really a deadlift at all because you aren't deloading the weight.

wots deloading, is that putting it back on the floor?

Like I said, this is old flick.

Since I studied this footage I now try keeping a straight back, However I was always shown too throw the shoulders back at the top of the movement, I dont think thats swinging sorry Biggurl.

Most others who do these do the same (not saying that I would jump off the bridge too)

I have always struggled with bad posture and hunch back, so my back naturally curves at the top of my spine. something that since I have been lifting (and thanks too lifting) has slowly been corrected.

My arms are a lot straighter when I go heavier then this, which is something I have no choice in. LOL

and same with placing the weight on the floor between movements. (cos its too bloody heavy to hold up like these old ones I did)

My max lift so far is 165kg

Thanks heaps for the help, it helps!!

I will try put a new clip up soon :P
