Bodyfat Storage question. HELP.

Recommended Posts

My hubby always says to me "you can't drain the deep end of the pool before the shallow end".

Ha ha ... may use this myself!!! May have earned him a clip around the ears but he is abolutely right. Fat cells hold a uniform size but gather disproportionately around a persons body. Over time, if you allow them to grow they incrementally split and seperate into more cells. However, you can't burn them completely away - but you can significantly reduce them in size.

I'd start with

a) increasing daily water intake to around 4 - 5L - will stablise water/weight fluctuation and reduce the amount of fluid held under the skin.

b) I prefer 1g:1g protein/carb meal plans to drop b/fat .... eat only enough cals to support your lean body weight. (pro & carb = 4cals / per gram fat = 9cals)

c) Cardio 20 - 40 minutes before your first meal of the day

d) Cardio 20 -30 minutes after each weight session

e) One full rest day per week

f) Take a photo every 4 weeks - and measure every 4 weeks. (don't worry about b/fat tests as they are not always accurate and can seriously play havoc on your mental focus).

g) Don't use a thermo until you find the combination of standardised nutrition intake and training routine that is right for you. If you're not getting a result with out them, you will not retain the result after you stop.

h) Shake n Bake in water - milk is for baby cows ... they are supposed to be fat.

Over simplified but a place to start ....
