Gaining size with out strenght

Recommended Posts

i dont use it as an excuse, strenght just isnt my foucse

in past when it has been i've made good strenght gains,

when traing for strengh i reckon you cant go past training with someone stronger then your self, makes you train like a mo fo just to try n catch partner

ditto, but thanks for the advice dave id rather look stronger than i actually am rather than the other way around.but it just bugs me sometimes.

Fair call, isnt it funny how most humans rise or fall to the level of their expectations...wat im saying is that some will lift their game when they train or play against a better team or lift with a stronger lifter, unfortunately the latter is also true...your game can drop just as easily to the level of your competition just as easily...the secret is to be strong enough in the mind to always bring your best game on the day to either the field or the gym regardless of what outside stimulus is present. Do that and you will achieve so much more, so much faster.

well said dale

i asked my last training partner what he got out of training with me as he could lift near double what i could on everything,

he told me my inthusiasm and me making good gains made him feel under preasure to match my gains,

worked well for both of us especialy since we were doing 10 sets of ten super seted partner comes in reall handy for that kind of training

Partners are awesome, Ive never trained with a proper part till the last 3 weeks.

Its so much easier setting up your weights, esp deadlifts, squat and leg press, like you can actually rest in between sets instead of hauling 20kg plates on and off of shit.

Going back to solo is gonna suck, whenever it happens.
