VIBRA TRAIN

i took the opportunity of trying out of these machines! i felt like it was just an easy way out of doing real exercise, i did work up a sweat and did feel good after using it, but its not something i would use more than once a week just because my specific goals arent just a way "to keep fat people from getting fatter", if thats not too confusing :P?

and it only takes 10 minutes! If this sounds too good to be true, then at least browse this website before you make up your mind.

if it sounds too good to be true, then it probly is.

I did a minute and a bit in a half squat on one of these things at big boys toys. Female trainer assured me it would increase my nervous system efficiency (bah!) and be very good for my joints. I stepped off and the first thing I noticed is that my knees hurt ALOT and could barely walk for a few minutes. Flag that, I'd rather play full contact rugby in the street.

I had a go on one at a 'gym' I was thinking of working at...

I think they would be cool if you could crank them up more

you can crank them up more but the muscle can only switch on and off fast enough to keep up with 45Hz of vibration so anything after that is demed ineffective.

They are good for people going from no exercise to something, they will see results but in terms of strength athletes or highly trained indivioduals there has been little research showing a benifit.

I guess I have to be biased because I also sell them

There have been alot of studies done on the effect/benefits of vibration training. I believe that they have there place in the fitness machine market. I find them very versitile. I often use one when I'm supersetting...mostly calfs and triceps (Dips position). I also use one after doing a heavy legs session, this bhelps break down the lactic acid and limits DOMS
