you need to drop a fair amount of chub which will be diet and cardio. you left it kind of blank though as to your targets, background, experience etc. this is more for tuning current practise, so what is your current diet and workout

by the looks I will say a standard beginers type work out and split with cardio in between. keep the cardio at about 1 hour a day

day 1 chest and bi's

Cardio

day 2 back and tri

cardio

day 3 legs

cardio

day 4 shoulders abs

A little background

I had been training since June 07 at les Mills prior to that I have just been doing weight lighting.

I had a bike accident in August which took me out of training for one month and stuffed me up pretty much till a few weeks ago.

I have just recently returned and I aiming to get back into the swing of things.

I am going back on the diet full on and getting my cardio up.

I have to start getting up in the morning to go and train but dam its such a bitch lol to get up and go do cardio.

Btw for all those that gym twice a day? how many sets of gym clothes do you guys/ girls have?

yeah I know I got tons of chub to loose but atm I am trying to gain my strength back eh .

Thanks guys,

Yeah slow and steady in getting back into it.

I have to try to get into the gym early

My question to you guys is what should I been doing atm?

I want to get my strength back so I am doing more strength building with not much cardio.

After about a month then start introducing cardio 3 times a week and then build up again from there.

What happened before when I was shedding was I was doing cardio 5-6 times a week, I looked great but my strength was crappp....

So whats a good balance?

If you're wanting to be a bodybuilder, I think you should focus on getting your weight down-for bodybuilders getting into shape is a far more difficult challenge than having a high bench or deadlift. If you can do it, there won't be alot stopping you.

GOod points Delpreet and the Legend killer

Yeah its just I find that when i get into shape i loose tons of strength so i have to find a way of balancing the gaining of muscle with the loosing of fat... which like arny says should not be more than 2-3 pounds per week....

so 137 kgs my weight now is about 300 pounds got to bring that down in terms of fat %
