Notes:

Squats were good, but threw in a extra Bench with the Shirt as I did not touch on Monday.

Got a touch pause on the last so left it at that.

Weekly Analysis

Lifts for Week: 187

A light week as I had a good session last week in the Squat Suit, last cycle I was still looking for depth. So did a couple of extra sessions up to 200. This cycle it was the Bench but after today pretty happy. Deadlift we will have to see how it pans out.

Highlights:

Yeah Bro, not long now, just setting up the House for the Comp, started today so I can rest on friday night. Not get home around 11.00-12.00 like I usually do when setting up the place.

Been 20 weeks on Boris have not missed one but I have missed a couple of GPP sessions so that could be considered a blemish. :naughty: :naughty:

Last session nice light and quick. Body is resting up at last which good, been a bit punished these last 20 weeks.

All it depends on now is my 3 friends in White Shirts, with two flags in their hands as long as the White one is raised I will be a happy chappy shoutingforjoy.gif if it is red still happy.

CD Champs 2010 Wellington

Squat

1st Attempt: 212.5kg 3 Reds Depth

2nd Attempt: 225kg 3 Reds. Depth

3rd Attempt: 227.5kg 3 Reds. Depth good lost it half way up Caught for the first time by spotters

Bench

1st Attempt: 142.5kgs 2 Whites 1 Red.

2nd Attempt: 145kgs 3 Reds could feel the bum leaving

3rd Attempt: 145kg 3 Reds. spotter's had to catch.

Deadlift Sumo Hook Grip

1st Attempt: 210 3 Whites, Clean and fast.

2nd attempt: 222.5kg 3 Whites. Same again.

3rd Attempt: 230kg 3 Whites, surprised at this PB Sumo Hook

Comments:

BW 99.7kgs

Bombed

No excuses

Dropped a bit too much to make weight more mental than anything else.

Squats: The Head everything was out, bit of a conversation on first attempt weight 12 seconds to do the lift rushed took no breath Captain Shallow Squat Struck. The rot set in

Bench: Weight loss changed the shirt, Heart was half there went up 2.5 as the first was not pretty. Hammered from the squats.

Deads: The sun finally shone, Sumo was pretty good 230kg Hook Grip 10kg up on Conventional comp PB, 5 months Sumo some promise here.

I know what happened been here before I can come up with a litany of lies and excuses but there ain't any and I am not at that level where I will blame my bombing on something. s*#t Happens, just not my day there is always another comp glad it was here and not at the Nationals or Oceania's at the end of the year.

Oh man..Im a bit gutted for ya mate :? WTF happened out there. your training derserved more than that!! :o great bit of work on the dead though :clap: look forward to any footage from seems like a very well run comp by all accounts..again great work :clap:

Obviously horrible total not getting your squat. but deadlift stong as!

when you lost the squat did you go out of your grove or just grind to a stand still?

Dead was pretty good the lifts were what was in the programme little bit of room for movement, you could say 10ks 5ks but I would be fooling myself, its a max lift as .5 could have stappled me.

Yeah first time I have been caught in a comp, came up a bit quick I think and rocked back on my heels lost balance, and could not quite get back on grove.

It was a cascade effect a whole lot of little things put in motion, that by themselves would have had no effect, but as a group well DNQ. There were heaps of positives from this day, it was really good for me as you learn the most from your mistakes, and I think in hindsight I needed this to happen. The plan has started and the adjustments will be made.
