I went to Cityfitness is Porirua though. My brother's still there.

6Ft 4in and 108kgs.

I stopped growing at the end of 3rd form (old schoool, year 9 new school)

We did an equation in science and I was suppose to be around 6ft 9in when I stopped, would have helped with BBall....not with lifting though.

I'm 1.76 and 95kg I was taller but when your been in the infantry and humping a pack every where for some reason you get shorter your spine compressess so they reckon because of the heavy as weight you got to carry :grin:

Taller people can be stronger, but that all comes down to genes etc For a taller person to be stronger would require freakish genes, perfect training, nutritionn, supplementation etc etc

Shorter people are generally represented more in powerlifting etc because they have shorter levers and thus able to push bigger weights on average.

oh yep, i see what you guys are saying. so its sort of a trade off unless your an exception (shorter limbs, shorter distance to move weight - longer limbs, further distance to move weight) so really, it is relative.

the guy is 6-1 but he has short arms... thats the important thing for bench pressing... short arms and a fat torso. A slight cink in the elbow and your at chest level.

194 cm, so 6'4" and a half. Stopped growing at 16.

Exactly the same with myself.

Was 6'2 88kg at 13 and I never really grew much after that. Gained 45kg since then though!
