I've noticed my right tricep is weaker relative to my left tricep which is very noticeable when getting close to failure on the bench press. My left arm will reach lockout easily while I have to struggle to lockout with my right arm.

Bench felt so much easier doing Touch and go's. Think I'll do paused reps on Tuesdays and TNG on Fridays.

I think any kind of variety is good when u are cutting TNG and paused reps.

I have noticed Aylmer no longer gets me to push really heavy weights bet he has added in half reps, holds, 6 second drop reps in all sorts of combinations.

I cant hope to replicate the intensity this brings but that is not my job.

However as u are doing all sorts of variety all shockes the muscles and maintains condition during the diet.

Today is supposed to be rest day but had nothing to do so I went in and did a little bench

These felt really good, just focused on staying tight and bar speed. Good practise for getting in the correct groove.

Got a splitting headache at this point, just like last week. So I had to go home and lie down for half an hour before I could even walk around. Felt nauseous too. Think the CNS has gotten deconditioned from not having done squats or deads to failure for a long time.

Cheers guys. Felt pretty knackered the past 2 days. I think the CNS has gotten a battering from doing some decent weights again. Had yesterday off gym and did some chest today.

Did some armwrestling training today. Was much stronger than the last time I tried it last year. Same guy that could beat me last year easy was weaker than me on the right hand now although he still beat me narrowly on the left. He's only 75kgs though so he's quite strong. Forearms and biceps were pumped after the 75 minute training. It was hard to hold my knife and fork eating my post workout meal.

Oh yeah, I decided on Thursday that I'm giving up cutting. I won't be competing in bodybuilding anymore and will simply focus on powerlifting and geting big. Reason is that dieting is too hard and turns me into a cranky asshole which is really not good for me at work. Speaking of work, I just find it hard to do it while working in a supermarket too. Being surrounded by all kinds of food most of the day while your stomach is growling is one way to go crazy.

 

I'm so much happier now that I can eat a decent amount again. Life just seems so much better with a full stomach

Gained 4kg in the last 4 days eating 6000 calories a day. Last Monday I squatted 160 for 10 reps, today I squatted 180 for 10 reps. Previous rep PB on 180kg was 8 reps back in January, pre-injury. Next Monday I am squatting 200kg for AMRAP, hoping for 8 reps. Most I've done on 200kg is 4 reps I think. After that, I will start using wraps again on my top sets as I get back into heavier weights (>220kgs) in preparation for the meet in August.

Pretty happy with today's session, back felt pretty good although it did get pretty pumped while doing the SLDLs and was a bit uncomfortable. Quad pump was insane. Love the bulk.
