So spine feels pretty sore lol in the lumbar region. Not a good sign as the pain is not muscular, its in the spine. Might be a disc issue. Also exhibiting the telltale signs of over training which are nails cracking easily, dry hands, and fragile skin around finger nails.

Anyway went and tried out my squat suit for the first time. Just straps down. Put them on for 220 and f*ck trying to get down, it just pushed me onto my toes and made my lower back round. Wasn't wrapped either so ended up dumping the bar lol. Fucking embarrassing. Loaded up 180 and did 3 sets of 3 but still felt shit. It's going to take a while before I get used to enough to get anything out of it. Right now, it's hurting my strength

Why does dry hands, nails cracking easily and fragile skin around nails mean overtraining? Never heard that before.

More to do with inadequate sleep/recovery resulting in lack of GH. Usually happens when I work too much while keeping up the training. Every time I got injured, it was when I kept training through

I get these exact symptoms with lack of sleep, during a time when work is hectic and i get 4 hours sleep a night for a couple of weeks, my hands get so dry

Did squats today. My back felt alright so put on the suit again.

60kg x5

100kg x5

140kg x3

180kg x3 (put on squat suit, straps down)

200kg x2 (straps down)

220kg x1 (knee wraps on, straps up)

The suit is not tight at all so it was pretty easy to hit depth really and sprang back up easy as with 220. I was tempted to go heavier but my back was starting to feel a bit uneasy so stopped there.

Front squat

140kg x2

Ouch, back was very ouch for this one so I only did two reps

80kg x15

Leg extensions

x15, 4 sets
