North Harbour Champs

Recommended Posts

I think you should go for it - it is not the end of the world if you are not quite as lean as you would like to be just do as well as you can. Then you have something to work from, the experience of doing a comp is awesome. But the best thing you bring from it is a benchmark for yourself to improve from. I wasn't quite as lean as I would have liked at my first comp (April this year) but it let me see areas I really needed to work on, so now I can see how much I can achieve before my next comp at the end of October.

Whatever you end up doing - good on you.

I have some bad news that I will not be competing in the champs this year, I have been to my PT this week and she thinks that I am not ready at the moment, but have made good progress and very good kick start for next season.

Is this what you really wanted?

If you trust her judgement, then thats cool. There are plenty of people that've prepped for a comp then decided to not compete at some point in their comp careers for one reason or another (umm like me ashamed.gif lol). Health comes first, and comps will always be there ya know? ;)

Thanks for the kind words guys

had a week off last week cardio only it felt good and looks like I have gained some size

started new programme this morning and with PT suggestions of failing on 10 th rep, if you can do ten then increase and if can't than carry on, with 30 secs to 1 minute inbetween sets, I can say after one workout what a difference  like night and day.

Cheers
