tues was day off. yesterday did shoulders.

got 80x10 and 90x5 for military press which although not the best ive done is pretty close to it and good numbers for me. to be honest workout should have been longer as i only had half an hour before gym closed. 

did 'face pulls' i believe its called? for first time. seemed ok although i felt like a little bitch doing it on the cable thing with f*ck all weight.

i need some other good shoulder excercises though if anyone has any suggestions. atm i just do ohp/military press, side raises and rear delt flies (reverse pec-deck). tried doing front raises again with various hand spacing but it just fucks up my shoulders.

what excercises do you faggots find good?

how about some front raises???? dumbell, ez bar, rope+cable, holding a plate. front raises get me uber pumped

Don't know that cable laterals would be much safer than dumbells, but I guess the constant resistance at all points could make the movement more fluid. Dumbells have no resistance on the delts at the bottom of the exercise, so that's one point in favour of cables anyway.

For something a bit different, I quite like throwing in a one-arm kettlebell clean and jerk - although I do it with a dumbell.

yeah they arent that fucked. like i said, i can do db side raises sweet and i like doing them, just not front raises with bar/db. was more tinking along the lines of other excercises...might give upright rows a go next time and see what thats like.

 

dunno why people seem to think cables excercises have constant resistance or why this would even be desirable? physics says otherwise in most cases

Ok faggots, update. Been in tropics last 2 weeks and doing f*ck all trainin and no gear at all. Will write review when I get back. Pulled 260 for 6 reps yesterday with straps only, then failed 300. then 5 reps today 260 no straps no belt. Grip is good as, was easy.
