Na but cant you minus 12.9% from your total mass to find that out?

So I think I have around 73.4 Lean body mass. Not alot but im working on it :)

do you count your organs, bones etc as lean mass?

Haha No i didnt, im actually just one solid mass of muscle, no bones or anything :)

JK, didnt take that into consideration. How could you weigh that stuff?

Pretty sure it would be Impossible

I read through this whole thread just now. Very entertaining. Bloody good results, and you deserve them for the effort. Good luck for the post diet.

So what happened when you started eating again....

Nothing really, I spent about a month slowly adding food which gave my body enough time to adjust. From Xmas day up to today I have been eating utter crap and indulging like crazy. I thought I would have gained alot of fat but I probably put on 1-2 kg's at the most. I havnt weighed myself but I dont look like ive put on much weight in the mirror, just a bit of a belly after a big meal but considering the shit ive been eating this is understandable.

Hey Pure,

You have inspired me to do the V-Diet . The plan is to start March 1st and work my way through until March 28th. I can f*cking do this!!! But I have a few questions, if you don't mind taking the time to answer them.

What was post diet like? Did you stick to the plan of a gradual build up? When you were working your way back to regular eating habits, did you lose fat/put on fat/lose muscle/put on muscle?

Also what was the general trend in your lifts over the 4 weeks? And what were you lifting?

Also the supplements (question for anybody): How does one go about getting Fish Tablets? And this 'G' thing, I've never heard of it so I have no clue what it does...

Another general question, with all the tricks to keep your metabolism up (Cardio, Caffeine, Green Tea), is it possible for your metabolism to be higher than normal (Normal as in, someone who's eating at maintainance or over and not doing any of these things).

Hey Mike, Good for you bro, trust me once your over that first fortnight, time flies and you'll see the fat melt off.

(What was post diet like? Did you stick to the plan of a gradual build up? When you were working your way back to regular eating habits, did you lose fat/put on fat/lose muscle/put on muscle?

Post diet was easy, I took it slow when adding back food as I found my appetite had decresed alot.

On the Monday after the 28 days I substituted a shake for a spinach and cheese omelette and stuck with this plus 4 shakes for the week. The following week I added salmon and veges for dinner in place of another shake and the third week was stir fried chicken for meal number 2 with 2 shakes left.

The last week ended up being the start of xmas so I pretty much dropped the diet complely and went back to my old habits of eating whatever I want whenever I wanted it. (and still havnt gone back properly to healthy eating yet)

It took about a month for me to start gaining fat, and because I havnt trained for the past month and a bit Im definetly looking alot softer. No biggie, im looking to gain some weight and compete in powerlifting alongside varvenz anyway.

(Also what was the general trend in your lifts over the 4 weeks? And what were you lifting?)

My lifts generally crashed and burned in the first fortnight. Trust me be prepared to feel lethargic, a lttle light headed and lose confidence as you generally feel like shit. Dont get me wrong its not that bad compared to what you think itd be, but the first fortnight is definetly not fun. After that I gradually got my lifts up, I just focused on form and explosivness through the whole diet and kept my weights to what I thought I could manage and finish without getting frustrated and giving up.

(Also the supplements (question for anybody): How does one go about getting Fish Tablets? And this 'G' thing, I've never heard of it so I have no clue what it does... )

P'n'W's got it, just go to health 2000 and get the biggest jar of fish oil they sell. I actually bought about 5 packets of bodybuilding.com as they were like $4US a jar which was all good.

Also not sure what G thing, (G-thang?? :) ) your talking about?

(Another general question, with all the tricks to keep your metabolism up (Cardio, Caffeine, Green Tea), is it possible for your metabolism to be higher than normal (Normal as in, someone who's eating at maintainance or over and not doing any of these things).)

Dunno what your meaning, I think your asking if my metabolism is higher, if so then no I definetly dont think it is higher. As I could put on fat pretty easy but losing it was another story. It wasnt untill I tried this that I was able to get down to 12, I have been close to it when I was doing kickboxing but as soon as I stopped the weight came back fast. Completing the diet made me feel alot healthier and my metabolisms definetly alot higher now than before the diet.

Hope this helps mate and remember to take photos and start a log.

Goodluck
