Winstrol

That's the full article I quoted from...

I've a load of stuff by Anthony Roberts, but He's had a bad press on here at times, I'd be interested to know what you think of his work.... ??

He knows heaps... and he's got the right background to be able to interpret and make sense the studies he cites in his work. If he says something, it's gospel. :)

Cheers...... I'll keep reading then.....

So will I, man I'm learning more and more that I know shit all. :-)

The important points from the article:

-Dose for dose you get more active drug from injection vs oral.

-Injecting is more liver toxic.

-Injectable=more nitrogen retention=better for size gains.

-Oral = greater synergy with other drugs (primarily by lowering SHBG).

-0.2mg/kg oral dose is enough to lower SHBG by 50%, making any test based cycle more effective.

-Woman should avoid oral winstrol due to this synergy. Increased testosterone=increased virilization.

Summary: take a small 0.2mg/kg oral dose (20mg/day for a 100kg bodybuilder) of winstrol with your cycle as it lowers SHBG and reduces the effects of estrogen and progesterone. Don't take it orally if you have a vagina and don't take for extended periods of time as its highly liver toxic and bad for your cholesterol.

\:D/ you're welcome

It's pretty obvious I'm an overly cautious guy. Everything quoted on here is all from pro-steroid internet websites. It's just like stoners who only think weed is good for them LOL cos "High Times" says it is and everyone else is wrong...man 8)

I definitely don't think you talking about liver re-generation and AAS in the same sentence is worthwhile or helpful. Regeneration occurs from surgical removal, not from chemical abuse dude at least get it right - I know you just quoting iSteroids.com and other pro-steroid sites you read about.

And another thing, pretty funny to hear if you talk about (sorry I mean repeat what you read elsewhere) to wait 1 month and then your liver values return to normal and that means you're ok

The liver spits out enzymes when it's damaged, then it shuts of the damaged cells and functions just fine without them. The enzymes stop flowing because the damage has been "contained" (not re-generated, pleeease). So yep, good blood tests if you wait 4 weeks after ceasing use, but that doesn't mean you didn't do damage you fool.

Safety first :naughty:

Anyone know what the uptake is when you take something orally? I read somewhere it was 25% under optimal conditions hence injectables being so much more effective. Not just Steroids but all meds.

It'd vary from compound to compound... all depends on how well the med can withstand the acidic environment of the digestive system, the enzymes in there, and how well it's absorbed through into the bloodstream.

Yeah the article I was reading was about medicines not steroids per se and it was related to how well they travel through the digestive process and their ineffectiveness when compared to injected medications. And the 25% absorption was in optimal conditions.

I read it years ago and hardly ever take orals now because of it. Damned if it was a lie, all the dbol I could have taken ha ha ha

Every drug has it's own oral bioavailability (the amount which reaches the blood stream) which can vary from 0% to near to 100%. Different formulations can help (eg: hard coated pills to get through the stomach, etc) but they all still have to go through the liver eventually.

Injected drugs have a 100% bioavailability as they bypass all other barriers to get to the blood stream. Drugs delivered by transdermal, oral, sublingual, intramuscular or any route that isn't injected or infused directly into the blood has to get through various obstacles first and some or all of it may not make it through. These include physical barriers, enzymatic degradation, etc, etc, etc.

The C-17 alkylation of winny allow it to bypass the usual first-pass enzymatic degradation processes in the liver when taken orally and so it has a high bioavailability, much more than 25%. Just checked and 84% of the amount ingested is excreted renally, so at least that much is getting through.

EDIT: OK lots of shit was posted while I was writing that. Read that instead lol
