inflammation dilates your capillaries and widens the gaps between endothelial cells, enhancing fluid and protein movement into tissues. its the damage that it does to the endothelial cells that causes LDL to adhere and deposit cholesterol.

i wrote my response quickly. youre right - ive edited it now.

Hey Mate... Have a read, its quite long but well worth it:

http://www.drcranton.com/nutrition/oiling.htm

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/7939 ... t=Abstract

im at work, and with the first article being so long, i dont have the time to read it. if it correlates with the second article then i will have to disagree. im sure you know for study there will be a counter study, as a matter of fact, there will be ten counter studies for every one like this.

heart disease (as a result of high cholesterol) is not a tale myth, it a reality.

Does anyone have a record of how many Big Mac's consumed in one sitting?

I'm going to throw this out there with 4 any takers?

Ummm I ate 4 once with 2 cheese burgers and 2 large choc shakes. I was skinny then and seemed to have a bottomless pit of a stomach!

Shit nice effort! knew it was too easy.

During the peak of Smolov I was known to do family meal deals for dinner.

And a flatmate did 10 cheeseburgers in 11 mins (10 for 10m challenge) have yet to see that title taken.

A guy prattles on about how bad big macs are for your Health and yet regularly uses tren. Are you a wizard? U must be a wizard.

I was going to say the same thing! If you were so worried about your cholesterol why would you be on the juice? What you eat is neglible in affecting your cholesterol levels compared to what your hormones are doing.

Anyway, it's a shame it's limit 2

It's my understanding also that carbohydrates can illicit a far bigger effect on your cholesterol as opposed to saturated fats as seems to be the popular belief

Quoted for truth. Our natural diet, that is without modern food prcessing and manufacture, is supposed to have very minimal carbohydrates. But is high in saturated animal fats. only 10% of cholesterol comes from the diet, the rest is synthesised de-novo in the body via the mevalonic acid pathway which is conected via krebs cycle to the glycolytic pathway, the pathway which breaks down carbohydrates.

This is actually a really interesting and valid point that a lot of people seem to miss when talking about fat intake and cholesterol levels. Most seemingly completely miss the point so glad you have put this in Riccardo.

High cholesterol is more related to a high carbohydrate intake than it is to high cholesterol intake, converting excess carbohydrate into fats for storage. Hence people on a high fat high protein diet having low cholesterol readings. Their bodies are using the fats the ingest for energy. So it's either carbs and low fat or fat and low carbs.. sadly in our current climate it's high fat and high carbs and everyone being an obese mofo with off the charts cholesterol levels. Kapeesh?

Cheers for the explanation guys, had heard a lot of people say that cholesterol intake had little effect on the levels of blood cholesterol but they had never really been able to explain why.
