you do realise that polyunsaturated fats are healthy fats right?

you tell yourself that.

so youre saying that omega 3 fatty acids, fats in olive oil, and fats found in nuts are bad for you?

i wouldnt have actually thought you would find much polyunsaturated fat in a big mac anyway..

before i begin i just want to say the fat in the meat is all natural fat. i was referring to the way they prepare the meat. im not sure if they grill now or not. some chains still fry, i personally dont care as this was taken out of context. while you asked me a genuine question, im going to take the time to answer it.

in polyunsaturated fats, the omega 6s are healthy for the heart only in a specific ratio to omega 3. most common diets tend to have an abundance of omega 6 with little omega 3. so what does this entail? well, omega 6 causes inflammation, while on the other hand omega 3 reduces inflammation. the greater inflammation, the greater the cholesterol build up within the lining of your capillaries.

I think u might read to much.

The body has these wonderful ways of dealing with everything, homeostatis I think is the functions name.

Relax, live a little, enjoy yourself rather than turn an enjoyable treat like McDs into a lesson on fats and omega whatevers

chill 8)

inflammation dilates your capillaries and widens the gaps between endothelial cells, enhancing fluid and protein movement into tissues. its the damage that it does to the endothelial cells that causes LDL to adhere and deposit cholesterol.
