"A tumbleweed is the above-ground part of a plant that, once mature and dry, separates from the root and tumbles (rolls) away in the wind. Usually, the tumbleweed is the entire plant apart from the roots, but in a few species it is a flower cluster. The tumbleweed habit is most common in steppe and desert plants. The tumbleweed is a diaspore, aiding in dispersal of propagules (seeds or spores). It does this by scattering the propagules either as it tumbles, or after it has come to rest in a wet location. In the latter case, the tumbleweed opens mechanically as it absorbs water; apart from its propagules, the tumbleweed is dead."

I hereby exert Squatters Rights in this abandoned journal

"

Types of Squats

Squats used for living in can be divided into two types (although they are not absolutes): so-called "back-window squats" (the most common type, in which occupants sneak in and out of the building with the intent of hiding that they live there) and "front-door squats" (where the occupants make little or no effort to conceal their comings and goings). Many squats may start out as one or the other and then change over time.

"

No mention of partials :pfft: 8)

Lets see how long we can squat this journal for!

I was thinking at least until November :shifty: I'm pretty sure Poos has abandoned us. She said she'd met someone else called 'Netball' or something :-s :(

ah squatting this journal are you Miss Rose? I could do with saving some money so I might join you!

In the UK if you manage to squat a place for 9 years it's offically yours! You get the rights to it. Lets see how long we can squat this journal for!

It's called adverse possession, and it technically exists in NZ too.

Did I mention I work part-time and my name is Victor? :pfft:

I'll fight you for it!

No I'm kidding!!! :pfft:

Please don't hurt me! :shifty:

This is just a squat post to ensure that my claim for adverse possession is valid etc. I've been here alllll along mkay? I've just been too busy redecorating to post anything  :pfft:
