I tend to think that what you call power building is just how guys that started me off bodybuilding trained and so consequently how I have always tried to train. Overload equals progress over time, very simple concept really. I think we have some PLs on the site who would blow the BBs out of the water if we follow their workouts, but in saying that I reckon they might also find it hard following my workouts?

anything over 5 reps and its Foreign territory for us!

lol well cmon man we all look for different things, the guys doing set programmes like reading about other guys doing set programmes.. eg sheiko. The fatloss fitness guys and gals like the journals they can relate to and I enjoy something from all of them.

I don't really care what someone's goal is I am more motivated by their journey if that makes any sense. I get as much motivation from reading about the crazy high volume workout that MG does as I do from the weights SG lifts. Plus I like the vids, where else would I know where to buy going out shoes I can squat in (red machine) or how long a beard should be before you look like a hillbilly (Doc) lol

Pete doing almost triple bw squats... you and your bloody rack pulls and ridiculous damn diet and still being lean! Mofo!

So yeah I guess we all get on here for different reasons. Some just to have a mega whinge at anyone doing anything ha ha ha ha ha cos that makes them feel better or something, others cos they feel like they have more knowledge than anyone else... thanks WBJ and me cos I like a good laugh and truly do find motivation in the trials of kate and her house hunting, TT and his planking, poos and wees and her taro legs and everyone else that makes up this bunch of miscreants. No offence lol

lol fair enough bro! i guess i like seeing journals where you get see decent weight being shifted and a decent physique to go with it. not taking anything away from everyone working hard but the ratio of people who have respectable physiques/lifts to those that don't well.........lol plenty of other agree with me.... off the record of course hahaha.

just a shame more guys who have/are really achieving things on higher level don't have journals ect i guess their to busy actually walking the walk! lol

Speaking as one of the weakest/smallest members with a regularly updated boring journal... It's quite useful to stay accountable and sometimes knowlegeable people like you guys chip in with useful advice. To be honest most of us here are just weekend warriors/gym bunnies.

People like SG Harry or Opti are the exception unfortunately! :pfft:

Devistated I didn't even make your list ... you know I'm very competitive and this could potentially harm me for good

Heres a controversial one, why are the bodybuilders on this site stronger than most of the powerlifters? lololololol

Bro I heard a rumour that you train in gloves? Just sayin...

Lol don't take it personally bro i think keeping a journal is a great idea, just dont expect me to read yours hahaha

lets face it we all wanna see dr squats mental raw power, SG's stupidly large quads/squats, harrys big everything, tonganterrors crazy work ethic, opti in the bat cave ect LOL they make us all feel inferior but motivate us to work that much harder.

any body builders poppin belts lately....

seriously though....there are some great journeys and journals on here

Should have asked if any bodybuilders have squatted 230.... Ha ha ha

Agreed though, it's the journey I like more than the weights or the end results.

That's how you get the argument going

I was going to mention that, but plenty of real strong natural bodybuilders on this site too!
