Some GPP

Sunny day for a change so we hit it up outside...Here's Wes...a client of mine who has ripped off about 17kgs of fat in about 20 weeks, put on 3-4 kgs of muscle and is getting pretty fit and strong for it. We use all sorts of training including GPP style training as we find it pretty effective...have a geez

hahah thats some awesome motivation "IF YOU DROP IT...." :D

we prefer to take the NO BULLSHIT approach...some cant handle it and go back to getting fatter on the treadmills at the local gyms and the ones that can we eventually turn them to the DARKSIDE and they become good powerlifters

Awesome! Great video. Was that Nose Tork?

yea bro...its good stuff if you use when you really need it (if you need it at all) but Wes here likes to carry it round the gym and I quote "I like the feeling I like the feeling I get" He can snort away a botlle of McKenzies Smelling Salts pretty quick so we upgraded him

I want some of this! Such a good atmosphere to train in. Wes looked a bit soft but at least he is getting in there and doing it. A better mentality should come with time.

Yup..he was quite a bit fatter and weaker when he came to me for help. He is an ex-body builder that let himself go when he came to NZ...soo many bakeries...but hes seen the light now and has shed 17kgs of fat, cleaned up his diet and life and when hes down to 15% or so we will swing back into pushing the tin round more. He thrives on the brutal circuits we run and this sort of GPP..well at least thats what I tell him

LMFAO! Shucks, that vid had so many lol's  The last word... :pfft:

Good on ya Wes for seeing it through man.. It looked hard to me despite what the guys were saying

You can make it as hardkore as you like them really T. Add more weight, flips etc but for Wes (and fat loss in general) I prefer to get him doing 30-40 mins with managable intensity ......the main reason being that if you raise the intensity too quick or too far then you get 20 mins from the client and they spend the last 20 puking

Not a bad idea... Long term I am thinking about setting up a wee studio for training which has all the strong man training tools and implements. Just a matter of space and enough time. At any rate I best come train in a few sheds just to see what it's like for a pansy bb like me.
