Well back on the wagon (sorta) after the house move disaster week, did some really good workouts this week, but my nutrition is still off the rails as is my commitment to cardio!!! But I'll get it back!! Doing lower reps higher weights at the mo.

Yesterday was :

3x 6 cable bicep curls 30kg

3x 6 Cable triceps 35kg

3x 6 Lat pulldowns 28kg (cant seem to do more than that?)

3x 6 Side lat raise DB 7kg

3x 8 DB bent over row 12kg

3x 15 squats 20kg

And now I hurt all over after legs the day before!!

Up to 73kg on the seated calf raise - I'm quite chuffed with that :)

Well totally worn out today but still managed a decent workout - now have my new iphone so new pics coming soon!! My ass and thighs hurt so musta done something right today.....

3x 8 DB deadlift 12kg (each side)

3x 6 One-legged squat thingie, supposed to be done with kettle balls but we dont have them....god knows the actual name of the exercise - anyhow it works you ass - 8kg

3x 15 squats 15kg bar

1x 10 leg press 105kg

1x 6 leg press 116kg

1x 5 leg press 124kg (this is why my ass hurts)

3x 6 Inner hip 70kg

3x Seated calf raise 73kg

And some token ab work........feels nice to get back into it after the last 10 days or so of drama's!!

Yeah man loving low reps bigger weights - cant stand these chicks who prance around with 3kg - whats that gonna do!!!!!

Today's:

3 x6 Bench 27.5kg

3 x6 Bent over row 30kg

3 x8 Arnie press 7kg - though I wouldn't manage this but was well impressed!!

3 x8 Stiffleg deads 30kg

3 x6 DB bicep curl 9kg (again well impressed with that)

3 x 10 Over head tricep 9kg

10 mins HIIT on treadmill as was late for work!!! Pictures friday, gotta do it with proper camera as iPhone just aint cutting it....

Yeah quite keen on doing it, but bikini/shape/fitness probs not figure, not sure if my already depleted immune system could cope with the extreme diet (no spleen) ...but reall yneed to do more research on all the diferent organisations....anyone got any recommendations???

Saturdays workout -

3x 6 lat pulldown 35kg (finally broke that barrier!!)

3x 6 BB curls 9kg - very impressed with that!!!

3x 8 Tri dips - with feet on another bench - mean!!

3x 6 Machine pull-ups

3x 6 lat raises 7kg

I did one more thing but cant bloody remember what it is now........think it might have been some token squats, oh and 20x 97kg seated leg press.

Then lovely HIIT cardio - still not getting mich better at the whole running part tho :(

So next week finally moving into a new house! Yaye so won't be so far from gym and can get back to normal eating - I keep comin home to already cooked dinner it's hard to say no!! And will have Internet back on so can upload proper pics - iPhone shots ain't cutting it!

Thurs workout:

3x 10 lunges each side, 8kg db

3x 6 deadlift 25kg

3 sets of what I've now lovingly called 'death squats' - 8 full range, 8 top half, 8 bottom half (this fuckin hurts) with 20kg bar and 5kg each side.

3x 6 inner hip 70kg

3x 6 seated calf 73kg

3x leg press - 4@124, 6@115, 8@106

Great stuff Kate! You look very athletic 8) How's the new house- is it better being closer to the gym? I live 3 doors away from my gym it makes getting there no problem!

Thanks!! Moving in tomorrow, cant wait, foods will be easier too as I wont be coming home to dinner - gotta do it all myself! (coming home to it already done is awesome tho)

K been crap on my journal lately but house move all done and settled in and back to it!! Started trainging with Teneka @ Les Mills and boy she has kicked my ass already - I hurt for days after our first session. Last week was hell on earth at work so gym fell by the wayside but back to it as of tomorrow.

Although I did manage to bust out 40 reps at 70kg on the seated leg press the other day - sweet!!!

First week of Teneka's new programme, all going well - although my ass hurts!! :)

Tues - lower body

3 x 20 each side steps ups - 2 with 4kg DB

3x 15 lunges with 4kg DB one leg on box

3x 40 70kg seated leg press

2 laps walking DB lunges, with shoulder press (25 each way??)

3x20 Wide squats 8kg DB at chest height

3x 20 alternate lunges

And some abs......

Weds - Upper body

3x 15 assisted chin ups 50kg

3x 15 assisted dips 50kg

3x 15 machine seated row 21kg

3x 15 seated chest press 21kg

3x 15 Lat pulldown 28kg

3x 15 Cable row 25kg

2x15 med ball crunches 2kg

2x 30 med ball twists

2x 20 reverse crunches

2x 20 figure 8

and a wee bit of HIIT.
