Decent leg workout there Kate

Yep, I reckon there's differences there....they might show up better in a side pose, maybe ?

My legs look huge from the side! But I'll do it anyhow :) stay tuned!!

Oh, and in a word 'tan-in-a-can' there's a reason bodybuilders spend hundreds on Dream-tan and the like. It shows up muscularity so much more clearly.

So this is bloody disappointing but according to the calipers I've gotten fatter!!! Not sure how thats possible, but Tania said it can be heaps of water weight as my cycle's all over the place plus my system is totally fucked at the mo so I've really got no idea whats going on. But just makes me more determined!! It is only by a couple mm's but still......off to see the nutritionist as soon as I can afford it ;)

Yesterdays workout:

15 mins cardio - 10 mins cross trainer on interval and 5 mins bike

3x 10 sumo deadlifts (1 set with 10kg)

3x 8 bench press 22.5kg

3x 8 Bent over row 20kg

3 x 10 Lying tricep extension 10kg

3x 21's BB 5kg

3x 8 Shoulder press 5kg

Plus a token set of squats!!

keep it up > early days yet :)

Yeah totally, cant expect 10% BF drop overnight! Wouldn't want to anyhow, to hard to maintain (not 22 anymore ;( !!) However some of the weird weight gain has def come off, not a quitter so it makes me more determined!!! I will get to that goal!

It could be partly hormonal and in my experience with training women and doing their diets etc etc often when they switch from whatever they were doing to a set eating plan they will gain weight immediately because their metabolism is wrecked from years of yo yo stuff. Not saying that's your case but if it is then it takes some time for your body to reset itself.

Just keep at it and well done!

Definetley some improvements katie keep it up! Remember its a marathon not a sprint (although doing sprints opposed to marathons would do wonders for your physique! :D

Thanks lads! No workout today, bit of a weird day....just felt rubbih by the end of it - and I know going woulda made me feel better but it was soooooo hot I couldn't bear it. Tomorrow I'm gonna kick my own ass.....my bloody hamstrings are still a bit sore from those deadlifts!

Also on a completely different note, some of the weights that I can actually lift now is freaking me out. 70kg on the inner hip? Thats more than my bodyweight!! And I really really watch my form too, and the calf raise?? Woah I started on like 15kg. Now 56kg.....wicked!!! However those are the seated calf raise not the standing but still.....:)

That's awesome!!

It hurts tho....hamstrings are sore as at the mo ;) the training is the easy bit for me I guess - its the shaving off of the bodyfat which is hard! Reckon heaps of people must say that tho....must be patient!

MASS nutrional fail today....so will bust a gut all week. Not even gonna list what I ate....but it was too much and it was BAD!!! Last couple workouts good, was at different gym yesterday and cannot remember weights and all the machines were different. But a change is as good as a rest! Day off today, Sunday is my Monday AND my hardest day at work.....plus my glutes hurt. Which is good :) Veggie shopping tomorrow!!

So gym tonight was:

3x Bench Press - 4@ 30kg....(badly) and then tried 25kg but coudln't manage it!!! Coulda been embarrassing! Then 2 sets of 8x 22.5kg

3x 8 Bent row 25kg

3x 8 DB shoulder press 6kg

3x DB Tricep extension 5kg

3x DB 21's 7kg

3x 8 Deads 25kg

10mins high incline fast walk started at 15 (max) and worked down from there the 5 mins HIIT on a 4 incline 15secs 9kph, 45 secs 5.5kph....could manage any more as bad knee was making itself known!

Veggies and Salmon for dinner, salad with tuna, olives and feta for lunch with greek yoghurt and the usual oats for brekkie!

Your diet looks really similar to mine :)

How are you finding the gap in between lunch and dinner? I always get a food rage so thinking of adding something else in

The weirdest thing is I dont get hungry between lunch and dinner....its weird...although I do drink tea with milk so that can supress it sometimes - but between brekkie and lunch it a different story! Alway at 11, 11.30 start to get hungry. I'd have protein shakes if I could afford to buy the bloody powder this week!
