Awesome benching bro! Controlled 4PPS too :shock: !!!!

Is there another way to bench press? I would try bouncing it but it would crush me I think.

Did legs last night... nice and simple workout.

Squats 60k, 100k, 140k, 180k/ 8 reps each

220k/ 6 ... with wraps and belt

180k/ 8

Hacks 1pps, 2pps, 4pps, 6pps, 4pps/ 8-10 reps each

Seated leg curls for 4 sets of 10-12

lying leg curls 3 sets of 10-12

Got a good leg pump and was pretty happy with how 180 felt on squats. 220 was a struggle but I think that's just where I am at now as an old guy.

I have been training and training pretty hard.

Did back on sat with my little bro, very basic workout cos he doesn't like to do too much volume. Just deadlifts and chins.

deads... 60k, 100k, 140k, 180k/3 reps each

220k/1 (only did one cos I was going to try and crack 280 today)

260k/1

280k about an 8th of a rep lol... FAIL!!!!

240k/4

4 sets of parallel grip chins 10-12 reps

Seated preacher curls.. 4 sets of one arm preacher curls just to get a pump on.

Sunday I did chest...

Flat bench 60k, 100k, 130k, 160k/3 reps each

190k/2

140k/12

100k/15

Incline db press 20k, 35k/10 reps each

50k/14

50k/9

Cable crossovers 2 sets of 12-15

Seated machine press 3 sets of 12-15 just to finish off

Tricep pushdowns 5 sets of 12-15

Preacher curls both arms at once 4 sets of 10-12

One arm cable curls 3 sets of 10-12

Great workout, everything feeling strong and tight.

Monday I did legs... well calves and quads

Calves on the hack squat 4 sets

Leg press 3pps, 6pps, 9pps, 12pps/12 reps each

14pps/10

7pps (feet together) 15-20 reps

Hack squats 2pps, 4pps, 5pps, 6pps/10 reps each

Squats 60k, 100k, 140k, 180k/6 reps each

Oh then I did some incline bb cos one of my tps wanted to..

60k, 100k/6... 140k/3 had to stop cos my chest was so sore from training the day before... so just dropped to 100k and did 15.

Have you thought about doing some PL? 8)

Not strong enough, maybe next year once I finish with this bodybuilding shit.

Just some vids... I was a bit vid happy on the weekend lol

Someone was telling me how they couldn't do chins cos they are too heavy?? lol You know who you are!

Some leg presses.. not short range of motion... short legs lol and fat guts!

240 for 4.. I video'd my fail at 280 lol but that's for me to look at and cry about!

Those bloody heavy 50k dbs.. after a bunch of bench presses they were a struggle..

LOL yeah my guts is helping me lift heavier weights!!!!

Nah training is going well, just trying to thicken up a little bit and get my appetite up to speed cos I normally hardly eat much. Hence the rapid weight gain, trying to eat every 3 - 4 hours instead of my usual 2 or 3 meals a day. I need to get hungry again so when I diet I can eat enough food to retain what muscle I have. So whilst I am pigging it up at the moment there is a method to my madness.

Haven't trained much this week since legs on monday cos I have been a bit congested and apparently some fluid on my lungs. Nice if I'd gone to the drs a bit earlier but I didn't think hacking up half my lung was that big a deal.

Did a bit of shoulders and back on thursday, went ok but definitely not my best work.

Today I did chest and arms, much much better.

Inc bb 40k, 60k, 100k, 140k, 160k/3 reps each

180k/2 drop to 140k/6 drop to 100k/6 drop to 60k/ as many as possible.

(Really happy that I managed 180, been a while since I did heavy inclines.)

Flat bench 60k, 100k, 140k, 160k/6 reps

160k/5 rest pause 3 rest pause 2.

Cable crossovers 3 sets of 10 - 15

Then 3 exercises for biceps and 2 for triceps.

Nice workout today. Oh and bw seems to be sitting on 117 and I'm getting a bit more used to eating. Appetite coming back.

Look after those lungs big fella, can be useful at times....especially under 220+ squats! :grin:

Apparently that's where I was heading lol but I will be fine.

I don't care about that 220 squat I want a 220 bench!

hey negro, owe you a thanks for your comments on hitting the longhead for tris, as my tris are the size of cigarettes lol. did some strict OH work with pussy weights as you described, and tris are sore where they are never sore lol.

Had a week off training, pneumonia lol stupid stubborn mofo. Trained yesterday though and feeling great. Bw teetering on 118... Might change my name to santa.

Chest, biceps.

Flat bench, bar, 60k, 80k, 100k, 140k, 180k/ 3 reps each (stoked at how easy 180 was)

200k/2 drop set 180k/2 drop set 140k/4 drop set 100k/7 drop set 60k/ failure

140k/ 6-8 reps.

Incline bb press 60k, 80k, 100k/ 8-10 reps each

140k/ 6 drop to 100k/? drop to 60k/ failure

Cable crossovers 3 sets of 12-15

Dips, bw, bw+20, bw+40, bw/ all sets for between 6 and 12

Preacher curls on hammer strength with drops sets

Standing bb curls

One arm his cable curls.

Great workout. Trained with my regular TP and anyonehelp from on here.
