Danny "Giant Killer" Padilla is one of my all time favourites. I wish I had legs half as good as his but thanks a lot for the compliment Android.. (he's Dolan height bro!) There's nothing freaky happening with my legs but I am pretty happy with the balance and fullness. Not bad for an old dude with a shit knee.

SG I would post some whole body pics but I don't like how I look at the moment. I am happy with how things are coming down though and if I can retain my upper body thickness as I continue to get leaner then I will be a very happy camper. Oh maybe see you at nationals by the sounds of things! Awesome news.

And thanks to the rest of you guys for your comments. Looking forward to being back home that's for sure.

Oh and TLAF... a pro card? lol hmmmmmmmm :shock:

I guess I could it next to my pensioners card or something? LOL

I wouldn't begin to think I could win an overall against some of the guys currently competing. I will just be happy if I look good enough to be competitive in my class and well I am not sure about nationals. It's dependent on wgtn.

Did shoulders and arms last night.

Bent laterals 4 sets

Facepulls 4 sets

Hammer strength press 1pps, 2pps, 3pps, 4pps/10-15 reps each

4.5pps/ 6 reps.

Standing laterals 5 sets of 10-12

Lateral raise on mach 3 sets of 15-20

Pushdowns 5 sets

Hammer strength preacher curls 5 sets

Lying extensions 4 sets

Hammer strength dips 3 sets

Back training last night.

Straight arm pulldowns 5 sets

Front pulldowns 4 sets pyramiding up, 1 triple drop set

Bb rows 40k, 60k, 100k, 120k, 140k/ 6 to 12 reps

100k 10-15

Hammer strength rows alternating arms 1.5pps, 2.5pps, 3.5pps, 4.5pps, 2.5 pps/ 8-12 reps

Back done. I am coming down with something so I didn't want to push the volume too much just focused on doing what I could and getting a good pump.

Been training and cardioing and dieting.

Same old same old really, down to just over 110 and a lot leaner than I thought I would be at this weight.

I had a plan that I wanted good abs at 6 weeks out and I am a couple of weeks ahead of that and heavier than I thought I would be so I am stoked.

Thats a really strong position to be in mate - much like SG going into his last show - thickness in legs I can only dream of .... (note to self: need to cut 3' bone of of leg next week) :)

Still training, dieting hard and everything where I think it should be? Who even knows... stupid brain!!!

Bw is about 110 now and all the big lines in, just details now.

Have been training more by feel than anything else. Hitting stuff like biceps and back more frequently, just getting more blood into those areas.

I will start logging training again this week I think, just very busy at work and in general life.

Diet is pretty low carb mon to fri and weekends pretty high carb. Will make just one day high carb from now.

Cardio is 30 mins 5 times a week and will up that to 40 mins.

Happy with where I am just starting to feel the pressure a little. I suppose nerves are a good thing!!!! :shock:

Nah I am actually loving it. It's a great feeling getting myself back in shape and I am loving the process. I am even enjoying the cardio and extra mobility.

Pressure is always good!!!

I thought I better start logging workouts again.

Last night did back and biceps.

Straight arm pulldowns 4 sets of 10-15

Parallel grip chins 4 sets of 10-15

T bar rows 1p, 2p, 3p, 4p, 5p, 6p/10 reps each... had to pause a few times on 6 plates to get my 10 reps.. put 7 plates on and did some sort of half jerky shit ass movement for 5 reps LOL.. Oh well I'm going to call that last set a set or Ronnie rows.

Hammer strength pulldowns 1pps, 2pps, 3pps, 4pps, 4pps/ 8-12 reps

finished this with just 1pps and alternated arms trying to just squeeze as much blood into my lats as possible.

Hammer rows 3pps, 4pps, 4pps, 4pps 8-10 reps each

That was that for back, still feeling good and getting good pumps so happy enough.

Biceps... 4 sets of concentration curls 10-12 reps

Standing db curls 4 sets of 10-12

Hammer strength one arm curls 2 sets of 8-10 (I was spent)

Good workout.

^^ Still solid volume bro given where your prep is at - lets call it old skool work ethic!

The back workout looked solid - simple heavy compounds - the staple!

I noticed on both back & arms you did an isolation type movement first - was this a warmup or pre-exhaust tactic?
