31 oct chest and triceps

Hammer strength incline press

1pps, 2pps, 3pps/12 reps each

4pps/ 8 + 3 forced

Flat bench

60k, 100k/12

140k/8 + 1 forced

Incline flyes

17.5k, 25k, 32.5k/ 12 reps each

40k/ 9 reps

Cable crossovers 2 sets of 12-15

Chest was super pumped, not my strongest day ever but not bad nonetheless.

Triceps was tricep pushdowns 4 sets, overhead cable extensions 3 sets and machine dips 3 sets all for 12-15 reps.

Good start to the working week, oh ate a bit over the weekend and weight back up to 111. Best cut them carbs back lol I was 107 on fri.

Man! How come you big fellas get such big weight fluctuations. Muscles all full of sugar and water! I wish I could fill mine up. :-)

LOL just speaking for myself, mine changes like that because I am generally in a low carb depleted state so when I eat a lot of carbs my weight climbs. Also 3 or 4 kilos as you get hevaier isn't too much. I mean I know BIG guys who's weight fluctuates 5-7 kilos but they are in the 135 plus mark.

Heh, I'm by no stretch a "big fella", but I went from 102 flat on Saturday morning, to 104.5 24 hours later 8) May or may not be due to a large amount of pudding on Saturday night :shifty:

Smith machine squats.. (Sit down ATG style, feet slightly forward)

4pps/ 10 fucking hard reps.... I was gasping, did these with short rests and really pushed myself. Bloody weak as piss!!!

Wish my 4pps squats were "weak as piss"! :pfft:

Must be relative to how much muscle you have... if I carb up from a depleted state I go up 2-3kg as well. Oh well...

Ha have actually been floating more around the 104 mark in the past month or so, compared to closer to 100 when I started the program in early Sept. Tidied up eating a bit as I was getting dangerously close to (/over :shifty:) the 105 mark, heh... which dropped me down to 102 on the weekend. And then I had pudding.

As for buildup itself, going pretty well. Can feel myself starting to fatigue, but it's the last week of the program now and will be backing off to very moderate/basic stuff after a skills test (openers + 2nd attempts) next week. Depth is my biggest fear, as with the fatigue (and a shorts blowout last week!) I've been a bit cautious and not quite hitting it on occasion. Expected to triple my max squat this weekend which should be interesting! :shock:

Anyway don't mean to hijack your journal, always enjoy dropping in to see your "piss weak" weights :pfft:

back only not a lot of time. Focus today was on taking away all momentum and just using the lats as much as possible to shift the weight over full ROM. makes me feel weak as piss but my back is screaming afterwards.

Hammer strength reverse grip pulldowns 4 sets of 12-15 with drop on last set

Low Pulley rows 4 sets of 10-12 with triple drop last set.

Straight arm pulldowns 4 sets of 12-15

Hammer low rows 3 sets of 12-15 with forced reps.

Front pulldowns 3 sets of 10-12, holding in contracted position with a couple of forced reps each set. Back was fried!!

shoulders and tiny bit of tiny biceps

Seated db press (went for higher reps today cos the dbs only go up to 50 at this gym)

10k, 20k, 30k, 40k/15 reps each

50k/12 reps

Upright rows 3 sets of 12-15 with 40k.

Cable laterals 3 sets of 10-15, went up each set and reps dropped as I went up. Tried to eliminate momentum and did partials at the end of the last set, until I basically couldn't move the handle. I am enjoying finishing my isolation exercises this way.

Hammer strength press

2pps, 3pps/15 reps each

4pps/ 12 reps

Shoulders were screaming.

Hammer strength biceps curls, 1 arm at a time for 4 sets of 12-15.

Done and dusted, really a good workout.

still got 4pps for 12 on the Hammer Strength press after all that? strong!

His gym is stacked with some pretty accomplished people and he still stands out. "Oh, I'm so weak" nek minnit 225 deadlift for 8 reps

I am weak!

We had a few fun workouts though PD!!

Yeah man, gonna save up and try make it over. Loan application got declined cause the builders found some issues and the bank viewed it as a security risk so my arsehole can unclench (no homo) and can spend dollars again

The problem is Harry, when you say you're weak, what does that make us :?

Good training man. I like how u build up to a weight then have one all out heavy set. I would be Keen to try that at some stage (mainly Cos 2nd and 3rd sets suck lol)

U still leaning up or trying to stay lean and put a bit of size on?

What's the diet looking like?

Oh and PD, Peter Jackson will be finished filming his new movie in Matamata soon. Completely refurbished burrows. Should be going cheap. Worth a look ;)
