Lol sounds a bit facetious I know but now I am getting leaner I can notice more that my calves and arms are growing again. Calves for sure and my biceps are responding aft what seems like forever. My triceps are dominant so I never worry about them.

Must be an island thing my triceps nearly need to be kept in check so as not to overpower the rest of my arm so I dont focus on them too much allowing bench etc to keep them growing and using tricep workouts more for defining.

Good money on the DB laterals bro 27.5kg meaaan

Yeah maybe, I have always done lots and lots of pressing as well so my triceps have always been hammered. I also find if I overwork them my elbows just kill all the time. It's my biceps that are a bitch to grow!!

Quads and hams

Had intended to squat today but both racks were being used and the guys were actually squatting so I couldn't get in straight away.

Hack squats

1 pps, 2 pps, 3.5 pps/ 15 reps each

5 pps/ 12

6.5 pps/ 10

8 pps for 7

Not a bad effort but just doesn't feel the same as good hard squatting.

Leg extns for 5 sets if 20 constant tension, every set heavier but I never go super heavy cos I am weak as on this.

Leg curls 5 sets of 12-15 reps each, last set was a triple drop, hams were fried.

Squats

60k, 100k, 140k, 180k / 8 reps each... Tried to pause in bottom position and tried to ake sure I hit rock bottom depth.

That was it, short and sweet. Definitely feel like my legs are on the comeback trails!

Solid Harry. Had any problems with your back lately?

I don't have any issues with my back that affect my leg training, it's more of a rotator cuff, upper lat issue than affects my deadlifting and stuff. It's good with squats thankfully. Just really my knee that struggles but I have found the line to squat in and everything is ok.

Good work on the squats too, Doing them at the end of your workout must have been killer!

I was going to leg press than I remembered you did 21 reps with 4 plates and thought I better at least do a few squats lol.. I read your journal before I train legs... mostly it just depresses me ha ha ha but gives me a kick up the ass too!

Chest and triceps

Incline bb

Bar, 40k, 60k, 100k/ 12 reps each

140k/ 10

150k/ 4 drop set 130k/ 4 drop set 90k/ 7

Upper chest fried!

Incline flyes super set with incline db press same weight

15k, 25k, 35k/ 8 reps each on flyes and presses

45k/ 5 reps on flyes and 2 on presses ha ha ha fucking weak ass chest but mad pump

Flat bench

60k, 100k/ 10 reps each

140k/ 4 reps drop to 100k/ 6 drop to 60k/ 11 reps

Dead!

Overhead cable extensions 5 sets of 12-15

Pushdowns 3 sets of 15

Triceps were super pumped! I think cos I read TT's journal and it rubbed off ha ha ha

Oh weight today 115.3 first thing in the morning. Feeling goooooood!

Oh and in regard to my hack squatting, it's a pretty easy machine really so the weight I do it sounds like a whole lot more than it is. I think it's designed to make guys like me feel strong lol

Yeah. Hack squat is one of those machines. I mean, I'm able to do 7pps for 5 and I'm no where the size of you. But still, strong nonetheless.

Skipped training this weekend, parental duties stood in the way of training. I think I needed a bit of a rest anyways or that's what I am telling myself. Legs tomorrow so it best be a really really good one to compensate!

It's long weekend next weekend but I just don't train on mondays, my working day is too long on a monday. I needed a bit of a break, felt like I was getting a little ill but a few days rest has helped a lot! So legs tomorrow and I will hit it hard!

Nothing wrong with that Big H. By the looks of your workouts the last few weeks your body could use a rest. Always come back better for it

I reckon I needed it, just everything starting to ache a little bit too much. Plus hey always kids first and everything else second!!

7 June legs

Sadly while getting myself ready to train today I got the link from SG and watched him squatting. Man sometimes I hate the guy ha ha ha

So squats it was.....

Bar, 60k, 100k,140k, 180k, 220k/ 6 reps each

260k/ 1 wraps and belt dubious depth but I'm a bodybuilder so I don't care.. That's my excuse anyway.

180k/ 12 in my head I thought I migt have a crack at 20 but not to be. I might have done them fresh but I figured SG didn't so I would try a bit of what he does. Did I say I hate that guy sometimes?

Straight leg deads

Bar, 60k, 100k, 140k/ 12 reps each

180k/ 8 reps

Leg extensions for 5 sets of 20 few forced reps last set, great pump.

Lying leg curls for 4 sets of 8-12 reps each everything was super pumped so a nice workout so far

Hack squats

1 pps, 3pps, 5pps/ 8-12 reps... Only 8 on 5pps stink!

Pretty decent workout all in all. First time under 6 plates in a long time but it actually went up pretty easy so I was happy, just felt heavy on my back coa I am soft.

Thanks for the motivation SG! Damn you and your freaky strength and damn me and my competitive nature ha ha ha
