Ummm well no disrespect intended lol but it was just a light one on the way up. It's all relative.........

22 may shoulders and stuff

Did a few light exercises for lats first, straight arm pulldowns, front pulldowns and one arm pulldowns just to fill them up with blood. 3-4 sets each of about 12-15 reps. Minimal rests, was good, got a nice full pump.

For rear delts I did high rope rows for 4 sets of 12 followed by bent laterals for the same. Up to 25k Dbs for the last 2 sets

Cable laterals for 4 sets of 10-15

Standing db laterals 3 sets of 12-15 up to 25's again.

Hammer strength shoulder press

1pps, 2pps, 3pps/ 12 reps each

4pps/ 14

4.5pps/ 7

Preacher curls one arm at a time 4 sets of 8-12

Close grip bench 4 sets up to 140k/ 8

Nice quick pace, walked out sweating like a cornered virgin ha ha ha (stole that saying from MG)

24 may legs

Squats

Bar, 60k, 100k, 140k, 180k/ 8 reps each

220k/ 6 drop to 160k/ 6 drop 100k/ 8 reps

Dead!!!!!!

Hack squats

2pps, 4pps, 6pps/ 10 reps each

7pps/ 5 lol fail!!! Thought I would get at least 6

Leg extensions for 4 sets of 12-15 light

Quads were screaming, awesome!!! Best workout in ages.

Lying leg curls

4 sets of 10-12 holding the contraction. My hams were pumped from squatting so this just finished everything off perfectly again the best workout in ages!!!

Getting leaner and everything feeling more efficient. It's coming together.

Do you take measurements bro?

I used to but haven't for ages. Why? I know my body pretty well so just kind of know where I am at. I mean bodybuilding is all about the illusion.

I honestly couldn't tell ya I do know my calves taped at 19, I was reading something on here about calves and someone said 17 so I thought I better measure mine lol I have measured my arms before at 20 and 3/4s but I was about 120k when they were that. I measured them one at 103 and they were just under 19.5 but they looked heaps bigger than at the heavier weight. My quads at that same 103bw were just under 30 at the biggest part and my waist was just over 30. Actually that pic in my pics way back at the start of the journal is me at that weight.

I got nothing freaky going on man, loads of guys with much freakier body parts. I am more a aesthetics and balance guy. So sad cos I just wanted to be a monster. I mean I ain't got no Android 21 inch arms that's for sure.

Thanks bro, it was ok... I want to get my squats up a bit more but that was the best I could do today. Felt really strong on it though. The drop was cos I just wanted to get the most out of my set and make my TP feel sick. They watch me do it and then they know they got to do a drop set of their own ha ha ha ha

Oh bro going second or third if your three up is farken horrible aye we put a young fella under the legpress dropset first with lesser weight last week when he came out nearly crying I already felt sick lol

Well I train with 2 young dudes and they think they got it all happening but the old man still smashes them every week.

Another way to do it is make them go first and give it to them hard so they give it back to you. Take what they give you plus more and show them how to do it without all the bloody whinging.

I do that sometimes, either way they are beat down. It's funny how different people are, I smash mysel and get excited about it, some people wanna lie down and have a cry. Cracks me up.

For sure. Also it's funny how training partners tend to go missing on legs day, but always seem to make it for shoulders or arms :pfft:

haha love training with a stronger partner, yesterday he tells me "last set" then reps 10 I lay under and rep 12 1minute later hes like oi beni come here and he reps out another set and I click Its because I out repped the old man and he wasnt having a bar of that haha

That dude sounds like me ha ha ha ha but that's how I started out, getting run into the ground every day by a sadistic training partner who felt that pain was my best lesson!!! Still love the punishment now.

26 may

Chest and triceps

So I got into a bit of a dispute with a guy while parking my car before training and it left me a bit annoyed and I had to calm a bit before could train. Waste of adrenalin.

Cable crossovers 4 sets of 12-15 got a crazy pump right from the outset!

Smith machine incline press

Just did straights up to 3pps, 12 reps till I got to 3 plates, only got 9 with that.

Flat bench, sets up to 3 plates for 8

Incline flyes up to 45k for 9

Chest was done

Did two types of pushdowns for 12-15 reps and 4 sets each.

Very quick throughh it, great pump and that was it.

Back and bit of bench press

My TP wanted to do some singles on bench and see what he could max so I did it with him.

60k, 80k, 100k, 120k/ 3 reps each

140k/ 1

160k/ 1

180k/ 1

200k/ 1

200k/ 1

140k/ 10

Not too bad for having trained chest on thursday just gone. Had a bit more in the tank but didn't want to push it cos I haven't been over 180k for a long while. Might have another go in a month.

Front pulldowns

40k, 60k, 80k, 100k/ 12 reps each

120k/ 7

105k/ 11

Hammer iso rows

1pps, 2pps, 4pps/ 12 reps each

5pps/ 9

5.5pps/ 7

Parallel grip chins

2 sets of 8

Bb rows

60k, 80k, 100k/ 12 reps each

120k/ 10

120k/ 8

100/ 11

Straight arm pulldown for 3 sets of 12-15

Nice workout, worked hard. No energy for deads so I will do them tomorrow before shoulders.

Thanks guys, I keep on pushing.

29 may calves, delts and biceps.

6 sets for calves, finished on a drop set on the hack squat. Calves are starting to grow which is nice.

Didn't go too hard today on shoulders. Focussed more on feeling than anything else. Shoulders a bit tender after bench yesterday.

Hammer strength shoulder behind neck press.

1 pps, 2.5 pps, 4 pps/ 15 reps each

3 sets of lateral raises with dbs, 12 reps each up to 27.5k dbs

2 sets of 15 on cable laterals

That was delts done. Doesn't look like much but my shoulders were crazy pumped and everything burning. Didn't do rear delts cos having a bit of an issue with my right one every now and then.

Hammer strength preacher curls one arm at a time 5 sets of 8

Standing db curls 4 sets of 8 up to 30k dbs

High cable curls 3 sets of 12

Felt good today, shoulders were tight from yesterday but still got a good feeling. Arms are growing thank goodness!
