Is 20% Bodyfat fat?

Bodybuilding is about increasing muscle mass and being able to show it off. You can't increase it any faster by being fat (in fact I would argue it would slow progress down), and you definately can't show it off :pfft:
I know of a top class NZ bodybuilder (does't compete at 65-70 kg lol)

a top nz bodybuilder over 70kg!?! thats unheard of lol

"This one guy I know" come on Dr we all know the best bbers in NZ are in the 70kg weight range, they built their bodies from 50kgs.

I can see where this will lead................

^ Surprisingly no comment on my new manhood threshold? 30%BF and 100kg. Just you and me in the field Jimmy?

30%BF and 100kg realm of the real men.

As far as people measuring body fat goes who gives a f*ck. If it wobbles it fat. Im much more of a fan of the mirror test. If it looks like fat it probably is. Who cares if you are 6.8473% bodyfat.

if your under 100kgs your doing it wrong.

Ronnie Coleman Used to never go above 5-6% in the offseason, in later years he would max at about 10%.

most IFBB pros would stay below 10% year round (I know there exceptions like Lee Priest).

just talking about some guys who are sitting around 20%+, ask them what they're up to, they tell you they are a bodybuilder, bulking. Nah your fat mate :pfft:

thats what 7 to 10 iu a day off GH and 3 grams a week of anabolics can allow you to bulk up under 10 %

you cant compare the pros to everyone else

bodyweight and strength take time..If rookie is at 20%bf and strength is still climbing hey, keep it up

amendment to above statement...rhodetown rules, Rookie is infact 20% jackedness :pfft: 8)

Chur bro, yeah aiming for a 500+ raw total in May. My lats are wider than my love handles so I know somethings right :pfft:

I've said it way too many times, strength is my main priority for now.

So that's what you meant when you said 30% jackedness in Tom's journal lololol

Lying about my weights? Haha I've posted my vids?

Rookie, I got owned on stage? Haha okay buddy

TAt what point did I say that rookie was too fat for his goal? All I asked was a question, which I thought was black and white and next thing all you guys are on your periods about me trying to pidgeon hole people as fat or cut? Come on man!

And rook, me being stronger than a masters champ? You're the guy always saying about it depends on your goals etc, I train like a BBer, not a PLer, can't compare the exercise techniques kid. And you take the piss out of my size yet I'll still out lift you on anything and still beat you on stage soo...

I respect everybodies opinion on what they think is fat, I only asked a question

16-20% is ideal for certain sports - Rugby, Swimming, Lacrosse, Football, etc

Any sport where there is IMPACT requires Fat to absord this impact and help protect the body

Couldn't say I'd want fat to absorb impact...thats what muscles and conditioning are for.

You got me tomtom. Watched one Ronnies DVDs last week and he was saying he never bulked higher than 7-8%. Never really saw his bulked pics of later on In his career. Obviously GH leaves you with a bit more of a bloated appearance but I will concede he is not 10% here

Lol @ jimjim. You been tapping my phone again bro :pfft:

Just another example roy nelson won the TUF heavyweights and tko'd kimbo in the qualifiers. Roys a fat c*nt and kimbos jacked to pieces. Just cos you cant see your abs doesnt mean your not conditioned. As tom boy alluded to try telling that fat russian dude that he needs to be shredded to be the best fighter in the world.
